On the floor, Titus Zane was pinned down by Alder Locke, and both of them were covered in paint. From Abigail Zimmerman’s perspective, it looked as though Alder Locke was about to kiss her niece.
Rushing out of the room, she muttered, "I came at the wrong time, I didn’t see anything..."
As she turned around, Abigail Zimmerman smiled. It seemed the two were developing quite quickly. Her niece was rather aloof, while Alder Locke was cheerful and talkative, they complemented each other just perfectly.

It was only due to her own carelessness that he had gotten the upper hand, and her aunt’s arrival was indeed a coincidence... Now that her aunt had seen them, who knows what she might think.
Looking at the woman underneath him, her face full of angry paint and her beautiful brows knit together in displeasure, Alder Locke really wanted to keep her pinned down and kiss her intensely, "Alder Locke, I told you to get up!"
Seeing that Alder Locke did not move, Titus Zane spoke again to remind him, "Little thing, see how I’ll deal with you next time!"
Alder Locke pinched Titus Zane’s nose with a gnashing teeth expression, then finally pushed himself up from the floor, and after standing, he didn’t forget to offer a hand to Titus Zane.
Unhappy about being seen by her aunt, Titus Zane huffed and was about to pull herself up from the floor when Alder Locke bent down again and forcefully scooped her up, speaking rather helplessly.
"We didn’t do anything, why are you angry again?"
Giving him a cold glance, Titus Zane said, "You go out first, I want to change clothes."
After speaking, she strode towards the bathroom. Watching Titus Zane’s retreating figure, Alder Locke slowly tucked his hands into the pockets of his trousers, a light and frivolous smile playing on his lips and eyebrows.
This woman was truly attractive; from the contact of their bodies just now, it wasn’t hard to guess—at least a C, maybe a D cup. The hand in his trouser pocket involuntarily moved, perhaps one of his large hands couldn’t even control it.
Downstairs, Abigail Zimmerman couldn’t wait to tell the old master what she had just seen.
"Dad, you don’t have to worry now, Lil’ Titus and Lil’ Locke get along very well. They were making quite a mess in the room..."
Samuel Zane, with both hands on his cane, turned his head to look at his daughter-in-law, as if inquiring.
"Dad, I’m telling the truth, I saw it with my own eyes just now." Seeing the old master’s doubt, Abigail Zimmerman added another sentence.
The old master turned back and gave a faint "Hmm" without saying much. However, he was still somewhat skeptical about his granddaughter’s sudden change of heart. If she really wanted to get along with Alder Locke, why would she meet with Nathan Moore in secret?
During dinner, after the scene in the room, Titus Zane seemed very unnatural.
Especially when facing Aunt Abigail’s smile, filled with both amusement and ambiguity, she just ate her rice quietly with her head down. Abigail Zimmerman interpreted her reaction as shyness.
Alder Locke served her some vegetables, and Titus Zane felt resentful inside. Because of the misunderstanding with her aunt due to Alder Locke, she childishly turned her bowl to one side when he offered the vegetables.
In front of the elders, Alder Locke wasn’t embarrassed, but instead said in good spirit, "Stop it, Aunt isn’t a stranger, she won’t laugh at us."
That one sentence made one’s thoughts go wild. Holding the bowl, Titus Zane looked at Alder Locke in disbelief. How had she only just realized that this man was so cunning?
She regretted agreeing to the pretense with him, but if she didn’t play along, she wouldn’t be able to go out and meet Nathan Moore.
