As they reached the entrance of the restroom, a girl about to enter was taken aback by Warner’s audacious presence in the ladies’ room. Warner remained unfazed, cracking a wide smile that revealed his teeth and even whistled at the girl flirtatiously.
Men showing up in the ladies’ restroom were often misconstrued as perverts, and since Warner was a dark-skinned foreigner with a big and intimidating build, the girl let out a shriek and turned to run away.
Warner raised an eyebrow and glanced down at the girl he was cradling before continuing to walk outside.
Before reaching an area with fewer people, Alder Locke suddenly stopped in his tracks, turned around instinctively, and his face turned pale with shock when he saw that Titus Zane was no longer at the counter. He quickly doubled back with long strides.
