Nathan Moore was transferred to a hospital in Capital Downtown, a facility with excellent conditions. Despite Samuel Zane’s opposition, Titus Zane insisted on staying to take care of him.
By the time Felix Shaw and Evander Lancaster arrived in Capital City, it was already three days later.
Nathan didn’t mention Titus’s kidnapping to his brothers because he didn’t want to involve her past profession, so he lied about being attacked by robbers and claimed that the injuries were not serious.
The two men stood by Nathan’s hospital bed, and upon seeing their good brother injured, instead of sympathy and concern, Felix clicked his tongue incessantly.

"Second brother, are the injuries serious? Let your brother have a look. Almost disfigured your face, who the hell did this? Don’t they know that second brother makes a living with his looks..."

Before Nathan could erupt again, Felix was suddenly lifted by the collar of his coat by Evander coming behind him.
"What’s the matter, have some respect," Felix complained discontentedly while Evander had already taken a seat.
"Let me see," said Evander, a medical practitioner, who could tell at a glance that Nathan’s facial injury was not as minor as he claimed. A bandage was adhered to the corner of his left eye, which was still red-rimmed.
Evander gently lifted the bandage, revealing two obvious stitches at the corner of the eye.
After sticking the bandage back, Evander looked at Titus, "Sister-in-law, where are the second brother’s medical examination films?"
"Oh, here." Titus paused for a moment, then turned and walked to the cabinet, opened the door, and took out the envelope with the films.
Evander followed her, took out the films to look at them, and handed them back to Titus without saying anything. Then he turned back to the bed with a serious expression, "Second brother, those two broken ribs are not a joke. Try to sit and move as little as possible..."
The knife wound on Nathan’s back was deep, and two of his ribs were injured, one of which had been broken by the stab... Nathan was moved, yet responded, "Some things can only be solved by oneself."
"Mhm," Evander nodded, not continuing the topic. Everyone has their own hardships. Like Nicholas Croft and Sophie Foster, who couldn’t come to Capital City this time, they had encountered significant trouble. Although they are brothers, some situations are beyond their help.
Like Nathan coming to Capital City to win back his wife, or Sophie being threatened and pressured by her father...
"Do you plan to stay in Capital City or return to T City?"
Evander asked, but Nathan turned to look at Titus, "Let’s stay here for a while longer."
