Upon seeing the woman approaching gracefully, Nicholas Croft slightly furrowed his brows almost imperceptibly, while Evander Lancaster also noticed Hannah Hargrave walking this way, tilting his head back to drink his champagne before teasing with a smile, "Big brother, your troublesome admirer is coming to find you, I’m going to head out first."
Turning his head to see the retreating figure of Evander Lancaster, Nicholas Croft turned back just as Hannah Hargrave arrived in front of him.
"Nicholas, why did Evander leave?" Hannah wore a lake blue evening dress, adorned with fragmentary diamonds, its fishtail hem showcasing her graceful figure explicitly, the strapless design revealing a tumult of waves at the front without being too exposed, her long hair styled in large curls, draping at one side giving off a very feminine allure.
"Oh, he went over there to mingle," Nicholas Croft responded indifferently, showing little enthusiasm.
"Nicholas, what kind of film project are you planning to invest in lately?" Hannah deliberately brought up a topic, still receiving a cold reply from Nicholas Croft.
He raised his hand to rub his forehead, feigning weariness as he spoke, "I haven’t thought about it yet, there are a few scripts in my hands that need further study before making a decision."
