Felix Shaw made his way through the crowd and pulled Mia Foster out of the dance floor.
After leaving the dance floor, Mia seemed to regain some clarity. She swung her purse at Felix’s back in a frenzy, "Scoundrel! Let go of me! I won’t go with you! Husband, Felix, come save me..."
Mia’s shouting attracted quite a crowd. In a place like a nightclub, such scenes were a daily occurrence, so the onlookers were merely interested in the commotion, but no one stepped in to intervene.
"Mia, stop making a fuss, it’s me! It’s Felix Shaw!" Surrounded by spectators as if watching a sideshow, Felix’s face wasn’t looking too good. He grabbed Mia’s wrist and scolded her unhappily, and she really stopped thrashing around, squinting her eyes to take a closer look. After observing for a while, she shook her head in disbelief.

Felix felt a tightness in his chest due to Mia’s muttered accusations, he sighed and pulled her into his embrace. While leading her towards the exit of the bar, he softened his voice to coax her, "Silly girl, there’s no other woman in my heart. Be good, stop making a scene, mom is waiting at home..."
Mia, dazed and confused, let Felix lead her out of the bar. She had just stepped down a stair when she yelped in surprise. Seeing that she was clearly unsteady in her high heels, Felix bent down and carried her in his arms.
The car was parked quite a distance away because there were no parking spaces left near the nightclub. Before they even reached the car, faint snoring sounds could already be heard from his chest.

After placing Mia in the passenger seat and fastening her seatbelt, Felix quickly walked to the driver’s side, started the engine, and thought to himself that in the future, he must stop Mia from interacting with Sophie Foster. Such a composed woman was being led astray by her.
The first time was a fight at a night event, and now going wild in the dance pool, no, he had to keep Mia away from nightclubs, away from Sophie!
Mia was carried back to the apartment by Felix. Even though she didn’t look heavy, carrying her to the room took quite an effort.

Felix said displeasingly as he placed Mia on the bed, "Mom, go watch TV. I can take care of her by myself."

Melody went back to watch TV in the living room. Looking at the woman on the bed who was out drunk, Felix sighed heavily as he bent over before leaving the bedroom.
In the bathroom, he filled a basin with warm water and grabbed a towel. The apartment had a standard residential layout, with only one communal bathroom and no private bath in the bedroom.
Wetting the towel, Felix gently wiped Mia’s face. Seeing her uncomfortably tugging at the collar of her dress, Felix hesitated for a moment before setting the towel aside and helping her take off the dress.
Although they had shared intimate moments before, when Mia’s body dressed only in a set of sea-blue lingerie came into his view, Felix still took a deep breath.
