In the afternoon, before getting off work, Mia Foster received a bouquet of flowers, 99 red roses, with dewdrops on the petals, looking very fresh and beautiful.
There was no signature on the card, just a few words written in an elegant style, "I’m sorry, I misunderstood you..."
Mia Foster didn’t think she had an admirer, but looking at the message, she could guess who it was. After signing for it, she saw her secretary’s envious face and handed the flowers to her directly, "They’re for you."
"Manager, really for me?" The secretary looked pleasantly surprised, "Yes, take them, and keep up the good work."
"Thank you, Manager!" The secretary happily hugged the large bouquet of roses and walked out of the office.
After work, Felix Shaw was waiting early by the roadside in front of the company, wearing light blue trousers, a white shirt, with both hands in his trouser pockets, leaning against the car looking at the company’s glass door.
Even though there was still a bruise at the corner of his lip and a band-aid on one cheekbone, he still attracted countless glances.
Seeing Mia Foster walk out from the revolving glass door, Felix Shaw’s lip corner slightly lifted, but when he saw her empty-handed, his gaze immediately turned cold. He got up and walked over with big strides, stood at the bottom of the steps, ignored the employees walking down the steps around him, and asked coldly, "Where are the flowers I sent you?"
"I threw them away," Mia Foster said indifferently, seeing that Felix Shaw’s face wasn’t too seriously injured, she felt relieved.
"Mia Foster!" Felix Shaw gritted his teeth, "I gave those to you, and you threw them away!"
Facing Felix Shaw’s obviously displeased gaze, Mia Foster sighed, "Don’t waste your time, I have decided." After speaking, she stepped down the last step beside Felix Shaw. Felix Shaw followed with big strides, just reaching out to grasp Mia Foster’s arm, when a commanding voice sounded from behind, "Mia, the driver is busy today, Dad will ride back with you."

No matter how foolish, he couldn’t act up in front of his father-in-law, so he let go of Mia Foster’s arm, turned back, and respectfully greeted, "Dad."
With a faint glance at him, Edmund Foster directly walked towards his daughter’s parking spot.
Watching the backs of the father and daughter, Felix Shaw’s lips pressed into a straight line; no matter how unwilling, he couldn’t make a scene in front of his father-in-law.
On the way home, Edmund Foster leaned back in the back seat with a serious expression, "Mia, maybe it’s time to go through the legal process."
Glancing at her father through the rearview mirror, Mia Foster retracted her gaze and said, "I’ve thought about it too, but I’m afraid he still won’t sign and will make a public fuss."
Edmund Foster sighed angrily, "That Felix Shaw!"
Both families have similar status, fearing that even if it reaches court, he still won’t sign, leaving them helpless.

"I hope so." Edmund Foster angrily turned his face towards the window.
The next day, Melody Zachary came to the company again to bring lunch to Mia Foster. The receptionist knew her relationship with Mia Foster, so she was let in directly.
Melody Zachary, familiar with the place, walked to Mia Foster’s office and smiled as she entered, "Mia, see what tasty treats I’ve made for you today."
Seeing her mother-in-law carrying several food boxes again, Mia Foster indeed felt a headache. Before she could say anything, Melody Zachary had already arrived at the desk, taking out the food boxes one by one.
To prevent her from continuing to use family ties to win her over, Mia Foster straightforwardly dampened her spirits, standing up from the office chair, supporting herself on the desk, and said, "Auntie, there’s really no possibility between Felix and me."
