Mia Foster’s heart rippled slightly because Felix Shaw said he had come directly from the company. It was clear how eager he was, but despite feeling touched, she hadn’t asked him to do that. Once again, she pushed Felix away, saying in a huff, "If you want to take a bath, go run your own water. I don’t have time!"
After speaking, she headed to the kitchen. Watching Mia’s retreating figure, Felix smiled helplessly. As long as she didn’t drive him away anymore, even if he was exhausted, it was worth it.
Having visited a few times before, Felix was already quite familiar with the layout of Mia’s residence. He walked in another direction and reminded Mia as he entered the bathroom, "No need to cook dinner; we’ll go out to eat later."
"Who’s going to dinner with you?" Mia scoffed disdainfully, but she returned to the living room once Felix was in the bathroom.
Since someone was treating, she saved herself the trouble.
She turned on the TV and sat comfortably on the sofa, leisurely watching the show.
Half an hour later, Felix hadn’t come out yet. Mia glanced toward the direction of the bathroom with an obvious frown of dissatisfaction, changed the channel again, and after another ten minutes, there was still no movement from the bathroom. After thinking for a moment, Mia got up and went to the bathroom door, knocking, "Felix Shaw, are you planning to starve me?"
Receiving no response, she knocked again, this time louder, "Felix Shaw! Are you done yet?"
Inside the bathroom, the man who was dozing off in the bathtub suddenly opened his eyes, stunned by the unfamiliar setting, and hurriedly explained upon hearing the knocks on the door, "Sorry, I just fell asleep."
After speaking, he lifted his body out of the bathtub, nearly slipping due to his haste, but he was fortunate enough to catch the edge of the tub in time.
He casually wrapped a bath towel around his waist and grabbed another towel, drying his hair as he walked out of the bathroom.
"You!" Seeing Felix wrapped in her bath towel, Mia was too angry to speak. Even when they lived together, they never shared such personal items, and now he was using such an intimate item to wrap his body!
"How can you use my bath towel!"
Felix tossed the towel he was using to dry his hair onto the coffee table, plopped himself down on the sofa, and said innocently, "Couldn’t find anything else." Looking at Mia’s indignant expression, his handsome brow raised mischievously, "Or did you want me to come out naked?"
"Felix Shaw, how can you be so shameless?" Mia shouted angrily and then lunged forward to start tugging at the towel wrapped around Felix, "Take it off and give it back to me!"
Felix sat still on the sofa, his hands resting on the armrest, his legs naturally spread wide, smiling as he watched her frantically tugging at his bath towel.
Without resistance, Mia easily pulled the towel away, but once it was removed, she was dumbfounded because... inside the towel... was Felix himself.
The undeniable, imposing presence nestled between his legs, even lying dormant, was impossible to disregard.
Her breathing became slightly irregular as Mia stood frozen, staring at the object with lips slightly parted, seemingly stunned into forgetting to react.
Felix kept his hands on the sofa’s armrest, not shy nor embarrassed, watching the woman who was staring blankly at a certain thing, teased with a smile, "What? Cat got your tongue?"
Mia suddenly snapped back to reality and hurled an object at him, "Felix Shaw! You pervert!"
Felix was a bit amused and exasperated, thinking it wasn’t his fault but rather hers for causing this mess, right?
