After hanging up the phone, Olivia Zane dialed Titus Zane’s number again, only to hear the sound of the phone being turned off. She put down the phone and wheeled herself in front of Nathan Moore.
"Nathan, I just called home, and Mom said my sister hasn’t returned yet. It’s so late already, could something have happened?"
"What could possibly happen?" Nathan Moore didn’t turn around, his voice indifferent, still looking outside through the floor-to-ceiling window.
Olivia Zane raised her voice, moving her wheelchair to the side of Nathan Moore, her face showing urgency.
"Why don’t you care about your sister at all?"
"Why should I care about her?" Nathan Moore turned his head slightly, his eyebrows raised, showing no particular emotion.
"Nathan, at a time , let’s not keep score," Olivia Zane said anxiously, "Mom said my sister hasn’t returned home, and when I called her just now..."
Olivia Zane hesitated, feeling the need to be honest about her concern for Titus Zane’s "safety".
"Her phone was on, but then..."
Seeing Nathan Moore’s handsome face gradually darken and his eyes slightly squinting, Olivia Zane bit her lip, her voice also became quieter.
"It was turned off later."
Nathan Moore squinted his eyes in silence. Olivia Zane knew this expression was a sign he was about to explode, but she still tentatively spoke to soothe him.
"Chun Ya mentioned that my sister hurried out after taking a call. I believe it must have been something urgent. Please don’t be angry with her," seeing Nathan Moore not responding, Olivia Zane grabbed his hand and shook it, softening her voice.

Nathan Moore’s pupils suddenly dilated as he suddenly leaned forward, his handsome face close to Olivia Zane, frightening her into instinctively pulling her wheelchair back.
"Was it Logan Ray’s call?" Nathan Moore pressed closer to Olivia Zane’s face, his expression dark enough to drip water, his teeth clenched, suddenly raising his voice.
"Tell me, was it Logan Ray!"
Nathan Moore’s suddenly raised voice startled Olivia Zane, making her shudder, continuously shaking her head as her wheelchair unconsciously slid backwards.
"I... don’t know, Nathan, please don’t look , I’m scared... please don’t..."
Realizing his own loss of control, Nathan Moore suddenly stood up and went back to the floor-to-ceiling window, looking out into the night again. Under the halo of dim yellow light, his silhouette stood like a statue, immovable.
Yet, the fists tightly clenched at his sides and the veins prominently bulging showed Olivia Zane that he was angrily seething due to Titus Zane not returning.
Olivia Zane slightly narrowed her eyes, a fleeting gleam passing through them.
Again moving her wheelchair behind Nathan Moore, she spoke softly.
"Nathan, it’s so late already, do you think... could my sister not return, could she have eloped with Logan..."
"She wouldn’t dare!" Before Olivia Zane could finish, Nathan Moore interrupted her loudly.
Seeing Nathan Moore suddenly turn his head and lean in again, his eyes fiercely stern under the glow of the light, Olivia Zane could clearly see the bloodthirsty red within them. She instinctively leaned back, avoiding Nathan Moore’s menacing gaze.
Nathan Moore pressed on relentlessly, his teeth grinding.
"If she dares to elope with Logan Ray, I will make the Zane Family pay!"
"Nathan... you, you, don’t be ..." as Nathan Moore’s bloodthirsty gaze lingered, Olivia Zane kept moving back.
The recent remarks were intended to provoke Nathan Moore, but this version of Nathan Moore was terrifying, almost as if he wanted to destroy her to feel relieved.
