"Has my son become so accomplished that he’s learned to find himself a spare? When Titus Zane didn’t want you, you needed the little seagull to act as your mental doctor to heal your wounds; now that Titus Zane wants you, you’re ready to kick the spare away!"
"Mom, how do you know..." Logan Ray’s eyes widened in surprise.
Worried that his mother would find out about going back to Paris with Titus Zane and try to stop him, he had dared not to mention her name. But unexpectedly, his mother was far more shrewd than he’d thought.
"Hmph," Lana Zachary snorted coldly, "a mother knows her son best. Do you think I don’t know what’s in your heart, what you want to do? I’m not laying it bare only to spare you the embarrassment. Lana Zachary raised her voice slightly again.
"Today, you listen to me! Whether Titus Zane is willing or wants to sneak away just like you, in this lifetime, you can forget about being together with her!"
