"Why are we getting on the bed?"
"How else am I supposed to help you apply the ointment?"
Ethan Grant said, handing the ointment from his palm to Serena Sullivan.
Serena looked at the burn ointment, puzzled, as she watched him slowly lie down on the bed.
He clearly has the ointment, why doesn’t he apply it himself!

As she passed through the hallway, the wheelchair and the floor made unavoidable noise, and his bedroom door was open.
Serena dared not think further; her heart was already in turmoil when Ethan lunged at her.
"Bear with it! It might hurt a bit!"

Serena snapped back to reality, seeing that she had almost finished applying the ointment on Ethan’s back. She put the ointment away and said, "Alright, you can’t get it wet for the next few days!"
After hanging up the phone, Ethan got up, his expression not looking very good.
This group of people had no sense of timing; why make so many calls now!
Serena watched Ethan in confusion, wondering if it hurt a lot.
"Um, you still need to apply this ointment every day."
After saying this, Ethan’s expression softened a bit. He moved closer to Serena, "You just can’t wait to touch me, using the excuse of applying ointment!"
The words were ambiguous, and Serena suddenly realized she’d set a trap for herself with her earlier comment.
She hurriedly denied, retreating, but Ethan got off the bed first, pulling her wheelchair back and kneeling before her on one knee.

He said earnestly, with a slight smile appearing at the corner of his mouth as he finished speaking.
