Xia Yangyang laughed, “Xiao Chu has always been . She prefers exciting things.”
Mu Liancheng agreed, “She’s not normal. Have you ever seen a woman who isn’t afraid of rats, who could grab it, snap its neck with her bare hands and dissect it into a skeleton? That’s really scary.”
“So terrifying, yet you still like her?” Xia Yangyang teased.
Mu Liancheng didn’t deny it. “Helplessly, my family is very traditional. An arranged marriage from when we were kids; not like you and Young Master Gu who fell in love freely.”
As soon as Gu Qichen was mentioned, Xia Yangyang’s expression darkened.
Mu Liancheng had intentionally prodded.
