“My understanding of a father might be different from yours, uncle. And who Xia Ye wants as his father is not set in stone.”
The two men stared each other down, neither willing to back down.
Gu Qichen eventually laughed, “So, you’ve known all along that Summer is my son.”
“Yangyang and I have known each other abroad for three years. Naturally, I wouldn’t not know.”
Gu Qichen’s fingers clenched tight.
Gu Zhaohan remained unflustered, “What’s the matter, uncle? Are you gonna throw another punch at me?”
Gu Qichen’s face was icy, his voice cold as frost, “No, I will never hit you again, but Gu Zhaohan, from now on, I can’t promise I’ll be so benevolent.”

Both of Xia Yangyang’s hands were being crushed.
The old man watched as the two men turned against each other over a woman, his anger almost causing his heart condition to flare up.

He had just come back and he was already talking about marriage.
