Chapter 4 Did You Hit Your Head
Lan Xiao didn’t know whether to cry or to laugh. She rubbed her nose and grabbed Wen Muchu’s hand.
“Wen Muchu… Do… Do you have a girlfriend? What do you think of me?”
Feeling shocked, Wen Muchu withdrew his hand. “Did you hit your head?”
“I not only hit my head, but also got it squeezed in the door…” Lan Xiao touched the graze on her forehead. In fact, her head had got shot.
If it weren’t for that gunshot, she would never have realized how stupid she was.
Wen Muchu just looked at her as if she was a monster.
“You’re acting so weird…”
“Weird?”
“Didn’t you run away as soon as you saw me before? You recoiled from me and fled as if you were a mouse and I was a cat. Judging by that, I thought you’d slap me in the face and scold me when you woke up. But now…” He couldn’t figure out the reason for the shift in her attitude. Could it be that she was possessed?
Lan Xiao blinked, leaned over his shoulder, and slowly whispered in his ear,
“I’m… so… sorry…”
She had owed him an apology for a long time, so at this moment, she finally said it out loud.
A hint of surprise flashed through Wen Muchu’s eyes. He froze as if he had seen an apparition.
He looked cute in Lan Xiao’s eyes.

After that, send him to prison for rape… I will ruin his reputation and leave him no chance to get back up.” Holding Lan Xiao tightly in his arms, Lou Yucheng comforted her and gave orders word by word with coldness in his eyes.
The tall and strong men standing behind him immediately stepped forward and approached Wen Muchu.
Lan Xiao’s heart skipped a beat. She raised her head and glared at Lou Yucheng before pushing him away.
Then, she sprinted to Wen Muchu, stood in front of him, and stretched out her arms to stop the guards.
“I won’t let anyone hurt him…”
Her action shocked everyone present.
A hint of surprise flashed through Lou Yucheng’s eyes. Lan Xiao, who had always avoided Wen Muchu like the plague, was now protecting him? Was he just imagining things?
Hiding the malicious hint in his eyes, Lou Yucheng reached out to Lan Xiao and said in a soft voice, “Xiao Xiao, I know you must be frightened. But don’t worry, I will punish this culprit and make him pay. You don’t have to be afraid that he’ll try to hurt you. He won’t have the chance…”
Lan Xiao didn’t budge even an inch. She just fixed her sharp eyes on Lou Yucheng.
With the light of the car headlights glowing at the entrance of the alley, she could make out Lou Yucheng’s features at the moment.
He was handsome, with facial features that were delicate and elegant. This was the 22-year-old Lou Yucheng.
