Lu Xiaoer was pushed into the operating room; her head needed stitches.
Zhongli Wuzhi and Song Lili watched as the door to the operating room closed, both of them simultaneously stepping back to lean against the wall, their bodies like having their strength drained away, utterly exhausted.
