Qing Luo slightly squinted her eyes as Ling Lan’s body shrank a bit.
"Boss, I think President Wen Nian of Country G appears gentle and approachable, but in reality, he’s inscrutable and hard to predict. His showing up on our turf, so alone and vulnerable, is itself an impossibility. If it really has happened, then it can only mean that his actions must carry a deeper significance!"
"What are you trying to say?"
Qing Luo was getting impatient and asked directly.
"Boss, what if it’s a trap! If the government of Country G is aiding the Government Army, if even the President of Country G is involved... then aren’t you just walking into a spider’s web by going there now!"
Qing Luo glanced at Ling Lan but said no more, simply starting the motorcycle and then sped away from Ling Lan’s side.
Ling Lan called out, but Qing Luo was already gone, leaving only the sound of the motorcycle fading into the distance.
"Don’t always treat him like a child. Qing Luo’s capabilities have far surpassed both you and me. You have to trust his judgment."
"But we’re not talking about just anybody here! It’s the President of Country G! It’s that Wen Nian!"
"So what about Wen Nian? Is our boss any worse than him?"
Hui Yan chuckled softly,
"If Wen Nian really is on our turf, then it’s like delivering himself to our doorstep without the least effort. The Government Army would have even less chance of turning the tables."

Ling Lan’s mouth hung open slightly, disbelief written on her face. What in the world was going on?
Not only the President of Country G, but the President’s wife was in the Chuhai Mountains region as well?
"Song Lili came to Country M to rescue a friend, and after the person was saved, war broke out, and now the whole country is under lockdown, allowing entry but no exit."
Hui Yan raised his hand to pat Ling Lan’s head,
"All of this, Qing Luo had already figured out."
Qing Luo rode his motorcycle toward the location where Wen Nian and Song Lili were.
When he reached the summit of that mountain, there were no signs of people.
Qing Luo parked the bike, got off, and walked around the summit, observing the traces they left behind.
The marks of the tires pressing on the mountain road were still quite evident.
Aside from the two men and two women he saw, as well as the last man who took down the drone with his rifle, he preliminarily judged there were three other people.
At most eight people.
After Qing Luo finished his reckoning, he found the path they took to leave, and without another word, he directly remote-commanded a platoon of soldiers from his troop,
"Search the mountains! Capture them alive!"
Since they had come to his territory, and since the visitors had such high profiles, which included an old classmate, how could he, Qing Luo, not indulge them in hospitality?
Once the people are caught, whether it’s the real President of Country G will be crystal clear.
Wen Nian and the others drove away from the mountain, immediately heading deeper into the scarcely populated mountains.
They avoided numerous small outposts along the way.
But everyone knew that this kind of evasion was only temporary and could never last.
So, after advancing roughly fifteen kilometers toward the deep mountains, Wen Nian and Song Lili, along with Zhongli Wuzhi and Lu Xiaoer, all got out of the car.
Qin Shu and Feng Hua each drove an off-road vehicle in two different directions.
Song Yangling continued walking in the same direction with the four who had gotten out of the car.
Such a method was meant to confuse their pursuers, a last-resort tactic.
With modern warfare not like the wars of hundreds or thousands of years ago, high-tech weapons can finish you in a hundred different ways once your location is locked.
Before splitting up into three groups, they distributed weapons, and Wen Nian gave them a location. They were to set up a deception and then regroup at the agreed-upon spot.
