Running Away From Home
Huo Buyu’s expression darkened. “Ye Yao, have you been saying things that you shouldn’t again?”
Ye Yao retorted, “What shouldn’t I be saying? Isn’t it normal for a girl to have her period?”
Huo Buyu pointed out, “Which girl gets her period four to five times a month?!”
Seeing Huo Buyu’s angry expression, Ye Yao smiled and turned around. “Then you’ll have to do some self-reflection. Have you been bullying me too much?”
Huo Buyu was very aggressive in bed and most girls couldn’t accept his strength. What was even more annoying was that after having sex all night, she had to wake up for a morning run the next day!
Now that Ye Yao was comfortable, Huo Buyu wasn’t. He stared at his protruding manhood and took a deep breath. He turned over too, so that now the couple had their backs facing each other! He even deliberately snatched the blanket away from her!
“Petty!” Ye Yao muttered, then started to pull the blanket to herself too! Wasn’t it just a matter of snatching the blanket? Who was afraid of whom?! Unfortunately, her strength was no match for Huo Buyu’s. Seeing that the blanket had been snatched away by Huo Buyu and her thigh was exposed, Ye Yao got angry. She stopped snatching the blanket and lunged at Huo Buyu!
Huo Buyu was about to turn around when he saw Ye Yao pounce on him like a little monster.
Now, Ye Yao’s hair was disheveled. At first glance, one would have thought she was a female ghost. Huo Buyu reflexively stretched out his leg and kicked her. Ye Yao didn’t expect that the man would dare to kick her. Her lunge was blocked by Huo Buyu’s foot. She leaned back and sat on the bed, swaying twice.
She was stunned speechless by his kick.
Huo Buyu reacted quickly. “Did that hurt your butt? I’m sorry, I didn’t do it on purpose.”
Ye Yao yelled, “You did it on purpose!” Rubbing her butt, she was so furious that her eyes turned bloodshot. She slipped off the bed. “I’m not sleeping with you anymore!”
Huo Buyu was about to lift the blanket when he saw Ye Yao hugging the pillow and staring at him fiercely. “If you dare to move, I’ll break up with you!”
Huo Buyu was stumped. He watched as Ye Yao walked out carrying the pillow and shutting the bedroom door behind her with a bang. He massaged his temples. Seriously… How could he have been frightened by Ye Yao’s disheveled appearance? Obviously, he had seen her looking even worse… He took out his cell phone to check the surveillance footage. When he saw that Ye Yao hadn’t gone out but had moved to the guest room on the first floor to sleep, he heaved a sigh of relief.
The next morning, Huo Buyu woke up on time. He first went to the gym, then to the kitchen to make breakfast. Seeing that it was about time, he went to wake Ye Yao up. However, when he opened the door, he was greeted by an empty room, Ye Yao was gone!
Meanwhile, Ye Yao was taking a leisurely stroll outside. She was very angry and had decided to run away from home! She didn’t know what was wrong with the weather today. The sun was so hot that it made her dizzy. The pedestrians on the road complained that it was too hot. Ye Yao sighed. “Such good weather. Please don’t let it rain…”
As soon as she finished speaking, it suddenly started drizzling and the air cooled down.
The light rain did not last long, just about five minutes or so. The dark clouds in the sky dissipated. The ground that was wet from the rain dried quickly as the water evaporated the moment the sun came out.
Ye Yao thought about it. Actually, her jinxing ability was not strong. It would be fulfilled for a short time and then things would recover very quickly. For instance when she had her period last night, there was only light bleeding which was completely gone in the morning. Moreover, not every curse would be fulfilled. For example, situations with too great an impact, like if she were to mention earthquakes, collapse of a bridge, or plane crashes, these would definitely not take place. Her jinxing ability seemed secondary, when it came to the safety of people and properties, her curses would not work, they were only good when meant as harmless jokes or when used to lightly punish people.
Ye Yao went to the mall’s gaming hall to play for a while, and then bought a dress. However, when she was making payment, to her embarrassment, she realized her credit line had been frozen! It couldn’t be used!
Ye Yao apologized to the cashier and turned to make a call to Huo Buyu. “Huo Buyu! Aren’t you childish? You actually froze my card!”
Huo Buyu snorted. “Hmph!” Other than that, he said nothing else and then hung up the phone!
Ye Yao looked at her cell phone with the dead line and said angrily, “Childish! Childish! So childish! I hope you bite your tongue when you’re eating… Ah!”
Ye Yao covered her mouth as she fell onto the ground, crouching. Biting her tongue hurt so much that tears immediately formed in her eyes.
