"Little beauty," Jeffrey said kindly, taking pity on you for your good looks, "you should hurry back and take your pretty boy to bed!" Jeffrey whistled and mockingly addressed Chi Gui, "This race can kill you; it’s not suited for playing house!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the drivers behind him burst into laughter.
Chi Guihe and Fu Si had been talking, and when they heard Jeffrey’s voice, both turned their heads to look at him.
Jeffrey was taken aback.
Even though both individuals appeared calm and said nothing, being stared at by a pair of almond-shaped and phoenix eyes somehow sent a chill down his spine.
Jeffrey instinctively stepped back.
Then, he heard the girl ask indifferently, "Who was driving the car that hit Lu You?"
Her tone was still very calm, as if it was just an offhand question.
Jeffrey and the others were stunned for a moment, then burst into careless laughter upon realizing what she was asking.
"Little beauty, what’s your relationship with that loser Lu You?" Jeffrey laughed the loudest, "Are you trying to avenge him?"
Chi Gui nodded politely, "Yes! So I hope those who weren’t involved don’t take credit, I don’t want to hurt the innocent."
She already looked so sweet, her almond-shaped eyes clear and bright; her polite manner of speaking carried no aggression.
Jeffrey cared even less now and continued to tease her: "I was the one who hit him! What about it, challenging me? Your delicate skin will bruise, and your pretty boy will probably be heartbroken!"
Hearing his words, Chi Gui nodded and said nothing more, returning to the rest area to prepare for the upcoming race.
Fu Si glanced at Jeffrey indifferently and gently pushed his glasses up with his long middle finger.

Jeffrey was startled.
Fu Si and Chi Gui didn’t pay any more attention to them, and after changing into their racing suits, they sat in the race car and began to warm up and familiarize themselves with the track.

As Chi Gui and Fu Si started their second lap, Jeffrey timed his entry onto the track and managed to get behind Chi Gui’s car, separating her and Fu Si’s vehicles.
Chi Gui glanced at her rearview mirror, her fair and delicate face showing no emotion as she maintained her initial speed.
Jeffrey cautiously followed Chi Gui for an entire lap, getting to grips with her cornering habits.
At the next corner, Jeffrey glared viciously at the rear of Chi Gui’s car, and as she took the bend, he violently accelerated and shot past: "Die just like that loser!"
