I hadn’t expected Mu Ze to be so cowardly and frail. As both glanced at Mu Hanyan from the corner of their eyes, they noticed she made no move, so they too stood quietly aside and did not speak. Mu Nan looked at Mu Ze, then at the calm face of Mu Hanyan, feeling not the slightest worry. His heart trusted Mu Hanyan more than anyone else.
"Alright, it’s decided then, don’t forget the promises you made earlier, I will make all decisions on this journey." Mu Ze felt the disappointed gazes from Mu Xitian and the others, feeling both embarrassed and frustrated, he grabbed the longsword from the ground and turned, walking towards the city’s outskirts.
Mu Xitian and Mu Jie hesitated for a moment, but still followed. Despite being utterly disappointed in Mu Ze, a promise was a promise, and they could only obey.

"Young Master Jiang, why not we have a chat and catch up a bit, huh?" Just then, a figure stood in front of Mu Yuying, smiling just as broadly at Jiang Yuzhe.
"Who are you?" Jiang Yuzhe spoke impatiently.
Having originally no impression of Mu Yuying and thus no real fondness, after a previous misunderstanding, he grew appreciative of her gentle yet firm character. He had sent marriage proposals, unresented even when they were rejected, and now felt even more drawn to her as he saw her biting her lip stubbornly through her tear-streaked face.
He was pondering how to speak with her to ease her wariness and foster a meaningful conversation about life and cultivate deeper feelings when someone blocked his view, souring his mood.
Because he arrived late, he hadn’t witnessed the whole scene and was unclear about Mu Hanyan’s identity.
"My surname is also Mu, and Yuying is my sister. If you want to pursue my sister, you should be courting me, her big uncle, first." Mu Hanyan said with a teasing grin.
