When Xiu Jie mentioned Xue Feihan, he sounded calm as if he were speaking of a stranger.
Xue Feihan was the man that drugged Xiu Jie, but when Xue Feihan made the confession at the Government Office, Xiu Jie dropped the whole matter. Gu Chaoyan was surprised too. She did not expect that he would come to them the moment Yinghan arrived at the capital. Where did he get the news?

When he received the message about Xia Yinghan’s return, he had been calm to hear that because he was sure Xia Yinghan was coming home sooner or later. He did not even get up to receive the message, because he believed that Xia Yinghan was going to return to the Saint College. However, the messenger told him that she was with a man! That was why he could not wait and came running to her.

He showed a gentle smile. “Yinghan, I am here to bring you back to Saint College.”
