Gu Chaoyan sneered and looked at Xuan Lin as if she were staring at an idiot. “I am sorry, but I don’t know who you are, you don’t have to think too highly of yourself.”
Having said these words, she turned around and moved aside, so that she could keep a distance between herself and this maniac prince.
Seeing the way she was scolding him, Xuan Lin did not get angry. Instead, he laughed.

Well, I love it!” Xuan Lin said as he turned to Zhou Huailing and patted his shoulders as he said in a fascinated tone, “Women from your country always pretend to be introverted, and this woman doesn’t even bother to pretend and instead plays tricks on me. He did not think that this lady was actually turning him down. Women were always like this – they said words that were against what they actually thought. So he turned to Gu Chaoyan again.
He was about to say something when Gu Chaoyan saw Zhou Huaijin coming to her side. He looked anxious, probably because he noticed that he had been absent for too long.
Zhou Huaijin let out a sigh of relief as he spotted Gu Chaoyan. He finally felt assured.
He had just handled an emergency, but he felt quite guilty for not having kept her company. He had promised to keep her company. Luckily, Chaoyan was still here.
