Sword One and Qing put some luggage onto another wagon and then said to Zhou Huaiyu politely. “Lord Six, you can take that wagon, we will head to the hostel first. The others will bring what we leave on the boat on land and join us later.”
Zhou Huaiyu responded to her briefly then he went into another wagon with Wuhen.
They had little luggage with them except for some garments. Those could just be carried into the wagon if they wanted to.
Wuhen had a terrible look on his face.
He had been sneering at Lord Huai on the boat, but now he was proved wrong. He wasn’t very pleased.
He had not expected any of this to happen.
Lord Huai, who had been living in the capital throughout his whole lifetime and who got served by so many people, was taking care of everything well. He was even more considerate than those who were on trips all year round. He even had more contacts than them!
Zhou Huaiyu looked at Wuhen. “Brother Wuhen, you have seen what happened – Eighth Brother has been in the capital all these years, but he is not as bad as we thought. You should drop your prejudice against him.”
