Multiversal Friendship System Chapter 80

After reviving Yamabuki Sawa, Kurumi stayed in the past era for nearly a full week.

She slipped back into her old life, using her past identity.

She spent time with her family, attended school, chatted with Sawa after class, and relaxed in a carefree routine—even making regular visits to Sawa's house just to pet the cat.

Her parents, in fact, were still alive in the present era 28 years later.

She would occasionally visit them in secret, but since DEM was always hunting her, she never dared reveal herself—fearing she would drag them into danger.

For the first time in decades, she was able to openly live as their daughter again.

It was pure happiness.

Kurumi even brought Souta to meet her parents—

And boldly introduced him as her boyfriend.

Kurumi's father was immediately skeptical of Souta and scrutinized him with intense suspicion.

He even put him through several trials, clearly making things difficult for him.

Kurumi's mother was extremely welcoming, constantly defending Souta, pulling him aside, and treating him like a son-in-law already.

Their opposite reactions left Souta both amused and exasperated.

If he was being honest—

That warm feeling of "family" was something he never knew he needed.

For a moment, he almost didn't want to leave.

Shiroyasha never once urged Kurumi to hurry up and get back to their mission.

This level of patience and tolerance earned her Kurumi's deep gratitude.

Kurumi was not the kind of person to selfishly delay things for her own desires.

After spending a heartwarming week with her family and friends,

She forced herself to say goodbye.

The remaining tasks were simple.

Besides gradually returning small groups of displaced survivors to modern society,

The only other thing left was...

Cleaning up Mio's mess.

(Not literally, of course.)

They had to rescue those who died due to her Sephira Crystal Refinement process.

In the end, ten Sephira Crystals were successfully extracted.

Their workload was greatly reduced.

Shiroyasha was visibly annoyed from the tedium of repetition.

They had been releasing refugees in batches of tens of thousands—

Which meant they had to do this literally thousands of times.

And to make matters worse—

She had to keep creating food supplies for them.

Governments had eventually caught on and formed an international aid organization to handle the mass influx of mysterious refugees.

That didn't make Shiroyasha any less irritated.

She still had to clean up after Mio...

Shiroyasha snuck up on the Origin Spirit,

Threw a sack over her head—

And proceeded to beat the living daylights out of her.

Kurumi enthusiastically joined in, channeling her inner sadist,

Mercilessly stomping on Mio's head with her heel boots.

Watching from the sidelines, Souta's eye twitched.

At that moment, he made a firm decision:

After venting their frustration,

Kurumi smirked, flicked her hair, and coolly remarked—

"That's just interest on what you owe us."

Then she walked away.

Lay twitching against a wall, struggling to stand up.

When she finally removed the sack,

Her beautiful face was now covered in bruises and swelling,

Her legs barely able to support her weight.

She pressed a trembling hand against her aching face.

Someone had beaten her up so badly,

She couldn't even fight back.

Mio was in disbelief.

In this world, who could possibly exist with such overwhelming power?

She wouldn't get her answer today.

Souta and the others had already left.

[Multiplayer Mission: "Save the Date A Live World" Completed. Distributing Rewards...]

Souta → 1,000 Points + Divine Spark x1 (D&D Ultimate Overhaul Edition)

Kurumi Tokisaki → 2,000 Points

Shiroyasha → 7,000 Points

After returning the last batch of one billion survivors,

The system finally issued the completion notice.

The next five years were guaranteed to follow the correct timeline,

Leading to the birth of all Spirits.

"We never even needed 30 years in the end, huh?"

Souta sighed in relief as he checked the system interface.

With Shiroyasha around, this mission was never truly difficult.

The sheer amount of planning and tedious labor had made it exhausting.

Kurumi glanced at the reward screen, blinking in surprise.

"Souta, you only got 1,000 points?"

Even though Souta seemed to be slacking off, he had actually played the most crucial role.

Just inviting Shiroyasha alone was worth 10,000 points.

None of this would have even been possible.

Kurumi hesitated for a moment.

"Want me to transfer some points to you?"

"No need, no need." Souta smirked.

"I'm actually the biggest winner here."

Kurumi raised a brow.

"You mean because of that Divine Spark?"

Shiroyasha suddenly stepped forward, looking confused.

"Wait... That's what you're so happy about? A Divine Spark?"

"In Box Garden, Divinity isn't even that rare.

If you wanted, I could just give you one myself.

So what's so special about it?"

In the Box Garden world,

A Divinity Core was simply an "Authority" that elevated a species to its highest potential.

A serpent given Divinity could become a God-Serpent.

A demon given Divinity could become a Demon God.

It was valuable, sure—

So why was Souta so excited about it?

"No, no, no—this isn't Box Garden's Divinity."

He paused, then explained:

"This is an entirely different system—one that can be trained and evolved infinitely.

The growth potential is so ridiculous,

It makes Box Garden's Divinity look like trash."

Shiroyasha's brow twitched.

"I-I mean, respectfully, of course!"

"But don't take my word for it."

He held up his system phone.

"If you don't believe me, just check the shop.

If this Divine Spark costs less than 500,000 points,

I'll eat my phone screen right here, right now."

Kurumi wanted to grab his sleeve and warn him not to jinx himself.

But Shiroyasha had already opened the shop.

She shot Souta a mocking look—

As if saying, Get ready to eat your phone, kid.

Her eyes widened in shock.
