After hearing this, Cen Jin said ’thank you’ and walked into the observation room, just in time to see Ms. Qin holding her back and sitting on the flat bed. Cen Jin immediately walked over, "Mom, how are you?"
"I’m fine." Ms. Qin looked at her worried expression, smiling to soothe her.
"Doctor..." Cen Jin clearly didn’t believe Ms. Qin’s words and turned her head to look at the doctor in a white coat.
"It’s nothing serious, just rest more at home for the next couple of days. Also, your mom’s back seems to be an old injury and needs proper care. I’ve prescribed some ointment, pay for it and pick it up at the pharmacy later. Apply it before sleep each night, and one patch can last for 12 hours, so one a day is fine. It’s best to come back for a check-up in half a month or a month."
"Alright, thank you." Cen Jin took the two forms handed to her by the doctor and nodded in thanks.
As she was about to help Ms. Qin up, a shadow covered them, someone got ahead of her in supporting Ms. Qin. Mother and daughter both looked up to see it was Jiang Baizhou, and Ms. Qin gratefully smiled, "Thank you so much today, Bai Zhou. Thankfully, you were here."
"No need to be so polite, Aunt Qin." Jiang Baizhou replied warmly, specifically glancing at Cen Jin.
His glance made Cen Jin’s heart skip a beat, and the hand holding the forms shook as well. As he helped Ms. Qin leave, Cen Jin subconsciously lowered her head and touched her nose.
She had no idea why her heart was palpitating foolishly.
When they arrived at the payment counter and pharmacy lobby, Jiang Baizhou helped Ms. Qin sit on a bench, turned around and said to her, "You stay here with Aunt Qin, I’ll go get the medicine." With that, he took the two forms from her hand and directly passed by her, heading to the payment queue.
Cen Jin looked at his back and couldn’t help but let out a wry smile.
