Cen Jin pursed her lips, unable to hold back her frustration as she complained, "He’s such a grown man and he’s still afraid of shots and medicine. Does he think he’s a three-year-old child? So childish, seriously. Not taking medicine or getting shots only makes himself feel worse and worries Aunt Hui Zi."
"Exactly! So when we go back later, let’s stop by the pharmacy and you can take some medicine over to him and try to persuade him."
"Me?" Cen Jin looked at Ms. Qin in disbelief, pointing to herself with wide eyes.

The heart that initially wanted to leave now seemed to be wavering melancholically.
After shopping at the supermarket with Ms. Qin, Cen Jin actively took on the responsibility of carrying the items, despite Ms. Qin’s several attempts to take a couple of the small bags so as not to tire her. But Cen Jin decisively refused.
As they passed the pharmacy, Cen Jin finally put down the bags she was holding and walked into the pharmacy. Based on the owner’s advice, she bought three kinds of medicine.
Upon returning to the community and just as they were about to enter the courtyard, Ms. Qin gave her a look, hinting wildly at the villa next door with raised eyebrows. Cen Jin looked at her speechlessly, "I still need to take the stuff inside first, right? I can’t just leave it out here!"
"You put it down, I’ll carry it."
"Mom, must you try so hard?"

"He only had some porridge this morning, didn’t even come down for lunch, same as yesterday. I’ve been telling him and your Aunt Hui Zi for half a day to go see a doctor, but he just won’t listen. Normally, he seems so mature and steady, but the moment he gets sick, his childish side comes out."
"Then... can I go up to see him? I bought him some medicine on the way back." Cen Jin thought for a moment, then smiled and asked.
"Of course, you can. Your Aunt Hui Zi said today that she wanted you to persuade that kid. You thought of it more thoroughly than we did."
Cen Jin smiled apologetically, "It’s because he got sick because of my mom and me, so I feel responsible."
"Cen Jin, there’s no need to say that. He’s a grown man, it’s not such a big deal when he gets sick. Go on up!"
