This heart was added by Cen Jin not long after they confirmed their relationship. Tilting her head, Cen Jin picked up the phone. Upon seeing those words, the sparkle in her eyes couldn’t help but become brighter, and she answered immediately: "Hello!"
"What are you doing?" Jiang Baizhou’s voice wasn’t particularly gentle, but it still felt warm to Cen Jin’s ears.
"I just did a major cleaning at home, exhausted." Cen Jin replied with a dreary, resentful tone.
Rarely hearing her complain , Jiang Baizhou on the other end couldn’t help but raise his eyebrows and smile, teasing, "Hmm? So diligent?"
Upon hearing this, Cen Jin sat up straight and retorted defiantly, "Do I look like a lazy person?"
Right after she said this, Jiang Baizhou fell silent, and Cen Jin suddenly felt insulted, angrily shouting, "Jiang Baizhou, what do you mean by not speaking?"
"Ahem, what time did you wake up?"
"Ten o’clock." Cen Jin replied confidently.
"Oh! That’s quite early." Jiang Baizhou intentionally dragged out his words, and the hidden meaning was all too clear.
Cen Jin rolled her eyes angrily and pouted, "Are you done with your work?"
"Just got out of a meeting." Jiang Baizhou picked up on the strong dissatisfaction in her words: "Saw you didn’t reply to messages, so just called to check."
"I was busy cleaning, no time to check messages..." While saying this, Cen Jin stopped, suddenly stood up from the bed, removed the shower cap that was on her hair, and exclaimed, "I almost forgot, it’s almost eleven thirty, let’s talk later, Jiang Baizhou, I’m hanging up."

"My mom told me to go buy groceries, she’s coming home to cook lunch, I need to change and head out, or else I won’t make it." Cen Jin said as she walked to a small closet nearby to pick out clothes.
After hearing this, Jiang Baizhou’s somewhat tense mood gradually relaxed, he briefly closed his eyes, calming his emotions: "Jumping to conclusions, I thought something had happened."
"Oh dear! Let’s not talk anymore, hanging up now! Message me on WeChat when you’re done later! No matter how busy you are at noon, make sure to eat!" Cen Jin didn’t have time to argue with him now, she only knew time was tight, she hadn’t even changed clothes yet!
After hanging up with Jiang Baizhou, Cen Jin changed clothes at the speed of light, casually tied up her hair, grabbed her phone and headed out in slippers.
Outside the compound door, Cen Jin looked at the blazing golden sunlight shining on the front yard, hesitated slightly, but eventually turned around, re-entered the password, and took out a sun umbrella from a storage box in the entrance.
Cen Jin went to a supermarket at the community entrance, taking only four to five minutes on foot.
While buying things, Cen Jin’s thoughts were clear, she went straight to the sections for the items she needed, and including the checkout time, it didn’t take more than twenty minutes. By the time she got home, it was only seven minutes before twelve.
Seeing Ms. Qin hadn’t returned yet, Cen Jin breathed a sigh of relief, brought the items into the kitchen, and after steaming rice in the electric cooker, took a bottle of ice water from the fridge and collapsed onto the sofa to rest.
