The perfectly good door was just broken like that!
Noah Drexler entered the bedroom, his eyes scanning the entire room, but he couldn’t find any trace of Summer Shawcross.
He couldn’t help but furrow his brows, and after another glance around the bedroom, his gaze fell upon the tightly closed bathroom.

The sudden noise outside the bathroom startled Summer Shawcross, who was soaking in cold water, too afraid to stand up and on the brink of exhaustion and drowsiness.
Just as she opened her eyes...
Bam! A deafening crash echoed within the bathroom.
She turned her head in terror, only to see the bathroom door she had locked had been forcefully kicked open.
And standing in the doorway was a man with a face full of coldness!
She looked up in shock, the sudden appearance of the man at the bathroom door scared her greatly, causing her heart to panic...
Summer crushed internally, looked at the man standing at the door, and suddenly had a bad premonition.
The last person she wanted to see now was Noah Drexler!
Yet, he came at this exact moment!
In an effort to stay clear-headed, Summer bit her lip and submerged her head in the cold water.
This method was indeed effective, and her previously foggy mind instantly became clear.

The actions of the woman in the bathtub successfully angered Noah Drexler.
He frowned and strode into the bathroom, reaching out without hesitation to pull the woman out of the water.
As his palm touched the icy water, his expression darkened even more.
"Are you trying to kill yourself?!" He restrained his anger as he scolded.
Was she crazy, tormenting herself like this?!
Did she not want to live?!
Summer Shawcross, pulled out of the water, coughed violently a couple of times.
Seeing her pale face, Noah Drexler’s expression turned even nastier. Just as he was about to reach out and pick her up, Summer angrily rolled her eyes at him and pushed him away.
"Don’t touch me, let go of me!"
Confronted with her uncooperative attitude, the man said nothing. He simply stared at her with a grim face for a few seconds before decisively reaching out to lift the woman out of the water, cradling her in his arms.
The moisture from her body quickly soaked through his suit!
Yet, the cold temperature of the woman in his arms caused a tightness in his chest.
He grabbed a bath towel, wrapping it around her body, then walked out of the bathroom, heading towards the bed.
Summer Shawcross was almost out of strength, having to rely on his support.
Noah Drexler, carrying her out of the bedroom, felt a tug at his heart upon seeing the previously struggling woman now weakly leaning against him.
He strode over to the bedside, carefully placing Summer down, and pulled a nearby blanket over her, wrapping her up snugly. Then he turned around, took the remote, and increased the temperature in the room.
After everything was set, he placed the remote down and turned to look at the woman on the bed.
She was tightly cocooned in the blanket, watching him warily.
Yet, her little face was now a vibrant shade of red.
Her current state made him furrow his brows, feeling a mix of frustration and helplessness.
Great, she was getting more troublesome as time went by!
He had only taken his eyes off her for a moment and she had put herself in such a state!
Two seconds later, he suddenly leaned down, reaching out with his palm toward her forehead.
