Summer Shawcross was at a loss for words. If Noah Drexler ever found out that he actually married her with such poor taste, he might be furious enough to spit blood.
"Do you have any other questions? If not, I should be leaving." Summer Shawcross glanced at Wendy Linden and then asked somewhat impatiently.
"Summer Shawcross, tonight I want to challenge you to a bet!" Wendy Linden looked at Summer Shawcross with a hint of unwillingness on her face.

"Sorry, I’m really busy now and don’t have time for such trivial things!" Summer Shawcross refused without a second thought and turned to leave.
But after taking just two steps, Wendy Linden’s voice sounded behind her.
"If you win against me, I’ll return that violin to you."
She paused mid-stride, stopped, and turned around to look at Wendy Linden with concern.
That violin was a gift from her father while he was alive, custom-made abroad, and the only one of its kind in the world.
It was her favorite instrument.
But after The Shawcross Family went bankrupt, all their possessions were auctioned off by the court, including that violin...
"Alright, I’ll bet with you!" Summer Shawcross stared at her counterpart for a few seconds, then suddenly agreed.

At the auction venue, the heated auction was nearing its end.
"Boss, the procedures are all completed, and the item is now in my hands." Sean Morgan, holding an exquisite jewelry box, walked up behind Noah Drexler and whispered in his ear.
Upon hearing this, Noah Drexler pressed his lips together, "Let’s go back."

Just as Noah Drexler was frowning and planning to get up to check himself, the host’s loud voice suddenly echoed within the hall.
"Tonight, seeing such enthusiasm from our esteemed guests, the organizers have decided to add a special and interesting item to the auction." After the host spoke, some curious voices indeed arose from the scene.
Upon witnessing this, the host continued.
"However, this time the auction is different from before; prior auctions were for items, but the upcoming one... will be performances by two young ladies!"
Upon hearing the word ’ladies,’ the eyes of quite a few wealthy businessmen on-site brightened somewhat.
"One of them is Miss Wendy Linden from the Linden Group, performing a piano piece for us!" As soon as the host’s voice rang out, a beautiful woman clad in a light blue off-shoulder gown ascended the stage, smiling warmly at the audience.
The scene erupted with applause.
"And the other is..." The host paused here before continuing. "A young lady who prefers to remain anonymous, presenting a violin solo for us."
Once the host finished speaking, the stage lights flashed. Behind the curtain, a girl with long hair stood quietly.
Compared to the lively entrance of Wendy Linden earlier, the reaction to the second girl’s appearance was noticeably cooler.
