"Ma’am, it’s so late, where are you planning to go?"
"I have something important to do. I need to go out now!" Summer Shawcross replied urgently. Even if her idea might not work, she had to give it a try!
"Ma’am, the boss has ordered that you cannot leave here without his permission." The bodyguard blocked Summer Shawcross, showing no intention of letting her go.
Upon hearing the bodyguard’s words, Summer felt a bit frustrated and was just about to turn and look for Noah Drexler when a man’s steady voice sounded from behind her.
"Where are you going?"
"I have an urgent matter to attend to!" Summer turned around, only then noticing he had changed into a different outfit, and his short hair was still a bit wet, as if he had just taken a shower.
Did he rush off just now to take a cold shower?
"Give up the idea of running away; it doesn’t do you any good." Noah Drexler reminded her coldly, with a displeased look on his face.
"I’m not trying to run away. I really have something urgent, you can come with me!" Summer hastily explained.
"It’s getting late, take her back to her room to rest." Noah Drexler merely glanced at his wristwatch, then instructed the servants calmly.
"Noah Drexler!" Seeing that he didn’t believe her, Summer was anxious and gritted her teeth, "Are you really not agreeing?"
"Given your previous record, no way." He glanced at her coldly, replying with a blank expression.
Hearing his words, Summer was lost for words...
She had used similar excuses many times in the past.
He would be a fool to believe her...
"Fine, if you don’t let me leave today, then I will..." Summer bit her lip, too angry to think of a solution.
Listening to her words, Noah Drexler looked at her with a face full of interest, curious to know what excuse she could come up with.
Seeing his disdainful expression, Summer felt unwilling.
So she simply gritted her teeth and said loudly!
"I will take off my clothes!"
She didn’t believe it; could this man still bear it?
She remembered that he wouldn’t even allow her to wear a backless dress before.
Sure enough, as soon as she finished speaking, the man’s expression changed.
Just as he frowned, Summer had already reached out, pretending to unzip the dress at her waist.
"Summer Shawcross, you dare!" The man’s angry voice erupted.
Noah Drexler, somewhat furious, strode over and grabbed Summer’s wrist, preventing her from moving any further.
With icy eyes, he glanced at the two bodyguards at the door. They both flinched in shock, then hastily turned their backs, absolutely not daring to look this way again.
And the servant nearby revealed a look of amazement.
No one had expected the usually willful Mrs. Drexler, Summer Shawcross, to not only be unrestrained and childish but now to have the additional flaw of shamelessness.

After failing to break free of his grip, Summer had to soften her voice to plead with him, promising, "Noah Drexler, I really have a very important matter to deal with. I swear, once I come back, I’ll agree to whatever you say and be a proper Mrs. Drexler!"
After she finished speaking, Noah Drexler merely snorted coldly, then asked her in return.
"Summer Shawcross, do you think I would believe you?"
"Really... I swear, if I’m lying, I’ll die a... " Her words weren’t finished when her wrist, which he held, hurt, and his stern voice immediately followed.
"Shut up!"
