Snapping out of her thoughts, Bai Hanyun coughed lightly to hide her thoughts. She smiled at Yu Xiangyu and responded, "Since Master Yu is so kind to invite me, then I will gladly accept his invitation."
Getting her positive answer, Yu Xiangyu turned to Chi Limin and said, "Limin, let my grandfather know Miss Bai will visit tomorrow morning. I will personally escort her back."
Chi Limin nodded. "Yes, CEO Yu."
Hearing that she would be visiting the Yu family’s old mansion tomorrow morning, Bai Hanyun looked at Yu Xiangyu with interest. ’Why is he so eager to bring me there? He must want something.’
Now that his goal was met, Yu Xiangyu smiled and said, "Miss Bai, I’ll visit you tomorrow morning, and we will fly to Sheng Du City together."
"Alright," Bai Hanyun replied.
Glancing at his watch, Yu Xiangyu said, "I still have work to do, so I will take my leave. See you tomorrow, Miss Bai."

After Yu Xiangyu left with Chi Limin, Bai Hanyun anxiously said, "Let’s go, let’s go."
But just as she was about to take a step, the scent of blood reached her nostrils.
Closing her eyes, she grimaced and thought, ’Damn it! I’m too late!’
Before she could finish the thought, Gui Xiaoxu’s lazy voice came from behind. "Miss Bai, the banquet is just getting started. Why are you leaving so soon?"
In the next second, Hua Yuyu and his men instinctively surrounded Bai Hanyun with their hands ready on their weapons, and eyes fixed on Gui Xiaoxu.
Raising a brow when he saw this, Gui Xiaoxu looked at Bai Hanyun and helplessly said, "Miss Bai, I’m not a beast."
Surrounded by Hua Yuyu and the others, Bai Hanyun took a deep breath to calm her racing heart. Forcing a polite smile, she replied calmly, "Please forgive them. They are just doing their job."
Though composed on the outside, Bai Hanyun was screaming internally. ’Heavens! Why is he staring at me like that?! Help! This is so scary!’
While Bai Hanyun and her team remained on high alert, Gui Xiaoxu slowly looked her up and down.
After scanning her a few times, he frowned slightly. ’Strange... I clearly sensed that familiar aura the last time I met her. Why is it gone now?’
He paused for a second and thought, ’Looks like I need to get closer to her.’
Making his decision, Gui Xiaoxu took a step toward Bai Hanyun.
The moment he took that step, Gao Gong pulled a military dagger and aimed it at Gui Xiaoxu’s neck.
At the same time, Ke Ting drew his gun and aimed at Gao Gong’s head.
The whole sequence unfolded in less than a second.
By the time Bai Hanyun realized what had happened, she swallowed hard, staring in shock.
"Wh–what’s going on?" she asked in confusion.
Seeing the other guests starting to notice what was happening here, Gui Xiaoxu raised his right hand. At his signal, Ke Ting lowered his gun and stepped back.
Gui Xiaoxu then smiled, gestured slightly toward the military dagger at his neck, and calmly asked, "Miss Bai, could you do something about this?"
Noticing the unwanted attention they were attracting, Bai Hanyun said, "Brother Gao, it’s alright."
Gao Gong glanced at Hua Yuyu. When he saw Hua Yuyu nod, he lowered the military dagger.
After everyone took a step back, Gui Xiaoxu said, "Miss Bai, I only wish to talk with you. May I have that honor?"
Bai Hanyun’s curiosity was piqued by his words. Narrowing her eyes, she scanned Gui Xiaoxu for a moment before replying, "Alright. Let’s talk at my place."
At her agreement, Gui Xiaoxu gestured for her and said, "Ladies first."
Bai Hanyun hesitated briefly before walking out of the ballroom, protected tightly by Hua Yuyu and the others.
Under the guests’ curious gazes, the two groups left the ballroom and headed to the top floor.
Walking out of the elevator, Bai Hanyun turned left and silently walked along the carpeted floor. Pushing open the double doors, she said, "Please, come in."
Following her and the others, Gui Xiaoxu and Ke Ting stepped into the presidential suite.
"Please have a seat," Bai Hanyun said, gesturing toward the couch.
After she sat down, Gui Xiaoxu took the seat across from her, while Ke Ting remained standing behind him.
With Hua Yuyu and the others standing behind her, Bai Hanyun asked, "Young Master, if I remember correctly, we only met once by chance and don’t really know each other. I wonder what you wish to discuss with someone who is, essentially, a stranger."
Gui Xiaoxu stared at her in silence for a few seconds, then took out his name card. Placing it in front of her, he said, "Please forgive my rudeness. My name is Gui Xiaoxu."
Hearing his introduction, Bai Hanyun raised an eyebrow slightly. ’I don’t recall Grandfather or the Bai family ever having any connection with someone from the Gui family.’
With doubt in her mind, Bai Hanyun picked up the name card and glanced at it.
"CEO of the Gui Group?" she asked with a hint of surprise in her voice.
Staring at the name card, Bai Hanyun finally remembered that the man Bai Li wanted to marry was also called CEO Gui.
She stroked her chin and thought with interest, ’Is this man the one Bai Li wants to marry?’
