My Apocalypse Territory Chapter 355

Floating Airship blueprints were not a single page but a bundle of them, with each one representing some important component.

The blueprints, optimized by the research institute, were manufactured part by part in the workshop, transported to this mountain platform, and assembled.

Everything followed the revised instruction manual and the final assembly blueprints, and the first successfully assembled Floating Airship had virtually no problems.

Inspection served as a double assurance, after all, this was a Consuming Crystal Creation that cost over 2.3 million Source Crystals.

The Floating Airship, as an important strategic piece in the next phase of the Territory's development, was closely watched by those with the privilege of being in the know.

When news of its maiden flight spread, followers tricked in.

Luo Zhe, wearing a black Combat Uniform that made his muscles bulge, came straight from the Gravity Room, sweat still fresh on his face. Upon seeing the enormous craft parked in the center, his chiseled face couldn't help but reveal an astonished expression.

Shay seemed to appear out of nowhere, standing in front of the airship's massive cannon, muttering something under his breath.

Eileen and Nancy flew hand in hand directly from the castle and landed steadily on the Floating Airship platform.

The two of them looked up simultaneously, expressing awe.

"Floating Airship... so spectacular."

"Floating Airship... does it taste good?"

Tang Yu's face was lined with disdain. Nancy had been learning from Eileen for a while, so why would she ask such a naive question? As for whether the Floating Airship was delicious, that of course was... he had no idea either!

"Ready to go, let's board the Floating Airship."

On the side of the Floating Airship, a long ramp unfolded, extending from the deck all the way to the ground.

The ramp was very wide, enough for two vehicles to travel side by side, and it had safety railings on both sides that provided a sense of assurance.

Luo Zhe and Chen Haiping quickly made their way up the ramp and boarded the deck in no time.

Eileen and Nancy leaped lightly, "biu~" and flew up to the deck.

Shay's eyes lit up and with a bend of his legs, he powerfully launched himself up in a projectile-like fashion and landed firmly on the deck of the Floating Airship.

The landing left a web of cracks on the ground, the soil underneath clearly visible.

"... I'll deduct it from your salary next month."

Tang Yu glanced at the damage, ignoring Shay's fallen face. He stepped on the air as if it were stairs, elevating a few meters with each step, and reached the deck of the Floating Airship in just a few strides.

Yang Wei and several others were stunned.

They had planned to wait for the big shots to move first and then follow behind. However... the big shots didn't travel by ordinary means!

They hurried up the incline.

In the main control room of the Floating Airship.

Tang Yu held a Rune Ball in his hand, a flood of complex information pouring into his mind.

Regarding the operation of the Floating Airship, taking off, turning, controlling the various Rune Arrays... it was all rather intricate.

"The control mechanisms are way more complex than those of a Floating Chariot. Even with intelligent assistance, I can only perform some simple operations."

At the very least, executing fancy drifts with the Floating Airship was out of the question.

Inside the control orb composed of numerous runes, individual runes began to emit bright light.

Invisible waves of energy radiated from the bottom of the Floating Airship, and with a slight trembling, the airship slowly rose.

The surrounding trees and mountain peaks were growing distant.

Kevin, standing at the edge of the deck, hands gripping the railing, was visibly excited, "It worked! It worked——"

He had spent a considerable amount of time studying the blueprints of the Floating Airship, curious about who could have designed them—it was likely a Grandmaster, but a Grandmaster could not single-handedly design such an enormous and complex Creation... It was probably a team effort, led by a Grandmaster, with the addition of a dozen or so Master designers, that finally brought the Floating Airship to fruition.

It may have taken years, or even decades.

But Kevin also noticed a significant flaw of the Floating Airship... it was designed too perfectly, making the manufacturing difficulty extremely high. In his opinion, to build one Floating Airship would take at least a few years, some components with very high precision requirements. Only an Advanced Rune Master, or even a Master Rune Master, would have the skill to inscribe certain critical runes.

If there was any discrepancy, the entire airship could be scrapped, and all the invested capital and materials would be wasted.

And now, it had been created by the Lord, even better in reality than what was shown on the blueprints!

If not for Kevin's awareness that such special crafting methods couldn't be learned, he would have been shameless enough to beg to learn at the feet of the Lord.

As the Floating Airship ascended hundreds of meters into the sky, the surrounding white clouds became a misty backdrop. Looking down, the Sanctuary's layered buildings on the other side of the mountain became faintly visible.

"That's strange, doesn't it seem windless?"

Yang Wei was astonished; he dared not walk to the edge of the deck. Even with the railings high as a person, they could not provide him with any sense of security.

What if the wind swept him away? Yang Wei was quite aware of his own weight.

The others felt the same, wanting to approach for a closer look, yet the deck was so vast it provided little sense of safety. They knelt on the deck like coturnix, shivering with fear.

Then they suddenly paused.

Right, why was there no wind?

"Look, the Floating Airship is flying at high speed."

Some pointed outside, where the clouds, like fleeting shadows, were rapidly receding.

They didn't feel it at all, as stable as standing on solid ground, much steadier than a plane.

Yang Wei slowly pushed himself to stand, his legs still trembling.

He composed himself and realized indeed it was not shaking or wobbling; he moved slowly to the edge of the deck, his hands gripping the metal bars of the railing tightly as he looked out.

The clouds drifted like water, with the Floating Airship freely weaving through.
