"Then let me ask you, what exactly is an Exorcist?"
Ji Minghuan asked as he sat down next to her, meeting her gaze.
"Exorcists, like Mutants, are a type of extraordinary human."
Ji Minghuan was puzzled, "Then why haven’t I heard anyone online discussing ’Exorcists’? There’s nothing about them in the superpower educational classes at school either. Surely you’re not saying you know more than the experts?"

Ji Minghuan withdrew his right hand from her forehead, supporting himself on the bed as he concluded, "So what you’re saying is: revealing the existence of demons would have a tremendous impact on the human world, which is why Exorcists must be forced to hide their identities, right?"
"And... you’re an Exorcist? A superhuman specialized in beating up demons?"
"How long have you hidden this from us?"
"About half a year. I became an Exorcist six months ago when I met my mentor."

Su Zimai didn’t answer, only raised her right hand, and instantly a Magic Glove covered her palm. Then a black top hat appeared on her head, and a red cloak draped down her back.

"This glove is called ’Celestial Driver.’ Everyone’s Celestial Driver is different; mine is a Magic Glove; the rest are extras."
Su Zimai spoke softly, getting up from the bed. She took off the black top hat, flipped it over, and a dove flew out. She then extended a virtual line from her fingertips on the Magic Glove, connecting to the dove’s tail feathers.
