Chu Xiaoran found Xiao Zheng’s actions inexplicable. She did not know what Xiao Zheng was up to, but for now, she just wanted to go back and rest.
She had drunk a bit of alcohol earlier at the dinner table and was starting to feel a bit dizzy.
As she got into the driver’s seat and was about to start the car, Chu Xiaoran suddenly noticed a dark shadow flashing behind her.

She laughed self-deprecatingly, and just as she was about to fasten her seatbelt, a voice rang out, "This is no illusion, you know!"
The voice came from the back seat. Chu Xiaoran was shocked and was about to turn around to see who it was, but then she was struck on the neck and immediately passed out.
"Hehe, Evil God? That’s all you are! Today will be fun."
A dark figure picked up Chu Xiaoran and after a few swift jumps, disappeared from the spot.
Xiao Zheng was moving rapidly; he was getting closer and closer to that scent.
"Still trying to run?" Xiao Zheng sneered, then suddenly jumped onto a car.
He gathered his strength again, and like an arrow released from a bow, he instantly moved in front of a foreigner wearing a black hoodie and a cap.
"Trying to run, you... what?!"
Xiao Zheng thought he had caught the Wolf King, but then his expression turned to shock as the person in front of him was not the Wolf King.
"Hello, friend from China, what can I do for you?"
The foreigner in the black hoodie spoke with an awkward Chinese accent, unclear and difficult to understand.
"Nothing, your mother is calling you home to eat."
Xiao Zheng glanced at him irritably and then realized that the scent had actually come from the garment.
"Oh no, it’s a trap!" Xiao Zheng suddenly felt a pang of alarm and realized that this was a diversion tactic by the enemy.
They deliberately exposed their scent to alert him, then tricked him into leaving Chu Xiaoran. If Xiao Zheng was not wrong, Chu Xiaoran had already been abducted.
Xiao Zheng hurriedly ran back, and soon he reached the previous location. The car was still there, but there was no one inside.
"So you’re playing this game with me, excellent!" His face was filled with anger. "But did you think that I wouldn’t find you?"
Xiao Zheng crouched on the ground, and then his eyes began to change. "Hehe, found you."
Then, he got into the driver’s seat, and with a drift, the car shot forth.
As he drove and searched, Xiao Zheng eventually arrived at an abandoned factory.
This factory was on the edge of Zhonghai City; the area was desolate, overgrown with weeds, and occasionally, faint dog barks could be heard.
"They really know how to pick a place, you could shoot a horror movie here at midnight," Xiao Zheng murmured.
He continued driving deeper inside without getting out of the car, as he was still unsure of the situation and surmised it might be dangerous to leave the car abruptly.
Xiao Zheng drove forward, and the car had just reached one of the factory’s workshops when he suddenly stopped.
In front of him, a blond, hook-nosed foreigner stood there, watching him with a playful smile on his face—the man was none other than the European Wolf King!
The Wolf King was roughly one meter eighty, clad in a vest that displayed his robust muscles, with camouflage pants and a pair of stylish boots.
His features were sharp, and from appearances alone, he greatly resembled a very famous foreign movie star. With a cigarette dangling from his lips, he gestured for Xiao Zheng to come over.
Xiao Zheng’s mouth curled into a sneer, and then he stepped down from the car, hands in pockets, unquestionably exuding an arrogant aura.
"Didn’t expect you to be so slow. If I had to wait any longer, I might have gotten a bit impatient," the Wolf King mocked, his voice magnetic and carrying an authentic London accent.
With disdain, Xiao Zheng glanced at him and responded in an equally authentic London accent, "Are you blaming me for you insisting on standing there like an idiot?"
The Wolf King was taken aback. He hadn’t expected Xiao Zheng to be in the mood for banter. Shouldn’t the other party be very nervous?
"Know why I didn’t show up last time? I just wanted to torment you, to make your life miserable, to keep you constantly wondering about my whereabouts!" the Wolf King said with a playful smile.
Xiao Zheng had killed his brother, but the Wolf King hadn’t planned on retaliating directly. Instead, he wanted to slowly torment Xiao Zheng to death and make him watch as people around him died one by one.
"Oh, I really enjoyed killing your brother!" Xiao Zheng said dismissively. "And I tortured him for a long time before letting him die." When it came to taunting, Xiao Zheng could practically talk someone to death!
As expected, the Wolf King was provoked by Xiao Zheng’s words; his expression turned colder and then menacingly said, "I plan to slowly play you to death. Don’t worry, I won’t kill you until I’ve tormented you to the limit."
Xiao Zheng laughed uproariously, then casually kicked a pebble that struck a nearby small tree.
Crack—the sapling split in half.
"Who gave you the courage to entertain the delusion that you can compete with me, huh?"
This question startled the Wolf King, Xiao Zheng’s imposing aura putting considerable pressure on him.
"I didn’t come alone today," the Wolf King sneered and then waved his hand, shouting, "Come out!"
The doors of the factory workshop behind him opened, and then about a dozen well-known experts appeared.
"Oh? You brought some help?" Xiao Zheng said with a light laugh.
He remembered these people; they all had grievances with the protagonist.
For example, the muscular man named Asura, whose organization had been destroyed by Xiao Zheng.
Then there was the sexy woman in a tight leather outfit, known as Black Widow, whose lover and brother Xiao Zheng had killed.
There were others like Blood Dripper and Evil Green Snake, all of whom had friends or relatives killed by Xiao Zheng, or whose forces had been crushed by the protagonist.
"Evil God, you killed my lover and brother. Today, I will use your blood to appease their spirits in heaven," said Black Widow, her face twisted with malice.
"Today, I will chop you into eighteen pieces!" barked Asura viciously.
Xiao Zheng dismissed their threats with contempt, "A bunch of insignificant troops. All of you together aren’t a match for me! Wolf King oh Wolf King, you don’t seriously think that gathering these losers, you could defeat me, do you?"
"We are well aware of Evil God’s prowess, but I have a special present for you," shouted the Wolf King. "Bring her out!"
Following that, two people supported a woman who was unconscious as they walked over.
"Evil God, you should recognize this woman, right?" the Wolf King asked with a smile.
