As soon as they got out of the car, Lu Qing wrapped his arm around Qin Miaomiao and headed straight into the hotel. He booked a presidential suite. She buried her head in his chest, while passersby stared at them in astonishment. "Wow, that man is so handsome... but, what’s with that weird smell?"
Perhaps Lu Qing’s aura was too overpowering, so after a quick glance, no one dared to look further.
Qin Miaomiao felt mortified and kept her head down the entire time. Once they finally got to the room, she bolted for the bathroom. Just as she entered and was about to close the door—
Startled, Qin Miaomiao stared at him in panic, "You... why are you coming in here?"
Qin Miaomiao instinctively covered her nose, worried she might get a nosebleed. She pointed at him, stammering:
"You... you... what are you doing?"
He said it so matter-of-factly that she was rendered speechless. Sure, technically that made sense, but still!!
"How can we shower together? You should leave first, and after I finish, you can come in. Okay?"
Just looking at him already made her feel utterly flustered—how was she supposed to handle showering together? That was simply testing the limits of her self-control!
This man, practically a walking aphrodisiac standing right in front of her—wasn’t this just asking for trouble?
Those two simple words were enough to drive her up the wall. She was about to argue with him.
She immediately covered her eyes and turned to leave, but he grabbed her firmly.
"You... you’re such a pervert!"
Lu Qing narrowed his eyes slightly, his gaze growing even hotter. "Well, since you’ve already called me a pervert, I don’t mind being even more perverted."
A piercing scream echoed, only to be abruptly cut off as Lu Qing covered her mouth. He leaned in close to her ear and murmured:
"If you scream again, I really might just do something to you."
Terrified, Qin Miaomiao quickly nodded. Faced with such a shameless man, what else could she do but comply?
She glared at him angrily. Lu Qing, however, gazed at her as though admiring a delicate piece of porcelain, lingering for a few moments, then promptly proceeded to shower. Thankfully, there was a curtain inside, and once it was drawn, all she could see was a vague silhouette.
Qin Miaomiao immediately clutched her nose, afraid she might get a nosebleed. Five minutes later, he finished showering and stepped out, still dripping wet, his body only haphazardly toweled off. Beads of water slid from his hair onto his skin. He casually ran a hand through his hair, then turned his gaze toward her, utterly nonchalant.
Qin Miaomiao’s heart seemed to be struck all at once—pounding wildly. She pressed her hand over her chest, worried it might leap right out.
Her utterly flustered appearance was too much; Lu Qing decided against teasing her further and left the bathroom.
About half an hour later, she finally finished scrubbing off all the filth. Wrapped in a towel, her hair softly curled, drops of water trickled onto the floor as she walked barefoot out of the bathroom.
Lu Qing had poured two glasses of red wine and handed one to her.
Qin Miaomiao’s cheeks were flush with a deep blush, making her look stunningly alluring, with a hint of irresistible charm.
