Qin Miaomiao quickly shook her head:
Lu Qing glanced at her lazily, but instead of continuing to act, he withdrew his hand and focused on driving.
Still, Qin Miaomiao’s heart was in her throat. Based on her understanding of Lu Qing, he was someone who never let things slide.
No way he’d just let it go . Could it be... he’s planning to use some other method to deal with her?
Possibly. Why did she even let her mouth run like that?
Carrying this uneasy and foreboding feeling, she followed him out of the car once they reached the garage and entered the elevator together.
He didn’t say a word, and his handsome face was completely expressionless. But the more this was the case, the more nervous she became.
There’s a saying: Either you erupt in silence, or you turn into a freak from it.

As she was overthinking, the elevator reached the top floor, and she walked out after him.
When the door opened and she just stepped in behind him, she saw him... He suddenly turned to look at her, and the door closed behind with a snap, startling her.
He stared at her unblinkingly, a dark emotion swirling in his eyes that she couldn’t decipher.
"Wha... what are you doing?"
Before she could even react, she was... hoisted up, like a sack of rice, slung over his shoulder.
From this angle, she could see his perky backside—ugh, no, that’s not the point! The point is he carried her straight into the bedroom!
With a loud thud, the door slammed shut, and she was thrown onto the bed.
He loomed over her, tugging off his tie with one hand.
Damn it, does he have to make it this intense?
Lu Qing propped himself up slightly with an air of superiority, chin resting lightly on his fist, and said:
"Now tell me, will you still dare to talk about finding young guys?"
"You... You’re doing all this just because I said I wanted to find a young guy?"

Qin Miaomiao immediately backed down: "I’m sorry, I was wrong, okay? I swear I won’t ever talk about finding young guys again! You’re the ultimate fighter among men, can’t you let me off the hook already?"
He smirked slightly. "This kind of apology will do."
Hah. If she hadn’t apologized, she’d probably end up dying on this bed, for real!
This beast had zero restraint in bed. What the hell!
Thankfully, Lu Qing was somewhat reasonable and eventually got up to make her some noodles.
She followed the delicious aroma out of bed, and by the time the plain noodle soup was placed in front of her, her mouth was already watering.
"You made this? Smells so good."
A faint smile appeared on Lu Qing’s face. "Want to eat?"
"Mhm, I want to eat, I want to eat!"
She nodded like a chicken pecking at rice, her eyes glued to the crispy-yet-tender fried egg on top, drooling all over.
"If you want to eat, call me hubby," he teased.
It’s just calling him hubby—it’s so simple. Her eyes stayed locked on that golden egg, salivating shamelessly.
He repeated, a dark glint flashing in his gaze.
"A true hero would rather die than be humiliated. I won’t beg!"
Lu Qing simply pulled the bowl back toward himself. "Then forget about eating."
