"If you’re so worried, why didn’t you chase after them? Instead, you’re here making a fuss?"
Lin Han hadn’t expected him to react this way. She froze for a moment before realizing she needed to explain herself:
"I... Miss Qin and that man are in cahoots. If we catch her, we can uncover her accomplice. Young Master Lu, I’m deeply concerned about Lu Lu’s safety."
On the surface, she seemed genuinely worried, but Lu Qing had long seen through her pretense. If she were truly concerned, she would have already chased after them rather than standing here putting on a show.

Lin Han looked at him in disbelief:
"Y-you... your man? Then why would—?"

Lu Qing, his face cold and expression detached, sized her up with a glance and asked in a calm tone:
"How did they bully you?"
"He... he... hit me on the butt!"
