At the door of Box 1406, Lu Qing stood there, but he didn’t kick the door open. His face was ashen, looking absolutely terrifying.
Jin Jing cautiously asked:
"Uh... Little Lu, how about I go in first and take a look?"
If Sister-in-law really... you know, at least we wouldn’t face her directly.
Though he hadn’t met Qin Miaomiao more than a few times, she actually fit his taste quite well. Just hope she hasn’t done something to betray Lu Qing, or else...
Whether she’d survive, well, that’s hard to say.
"Young Master Lu, how about I go in first instead? In case there’s something unsightly in there, also..."
Lin Ran feigned an understanding look, her gaze firmly fixed on Lu Qing. The angrier he got, the worse off that woman would be.
Young Master Liu was no saint. That woman could not possibly come out unscathed.
By now, she’s probably already been dealt with by Young Master Liu. Everything is perfectly timed—Lu Qing just needs to see it. Who cares what hidden truths lie beneath?
She grew excited as she watched Lu Qing push the door open!
A shrill scream came from inside. The room was a complete mess—was the fight so intense?
Lin Ran’s excited expression froze. That woman... hasn’t been "dealt with"? How could that be?
Inside the room were three men: one clutching his groin, another holding his head, two collapsed on the floor, and one with a shard of a broken glass bottle pressed against his neck, looking utterly terrified. Liu Lun was on the verge of madness—he had run into a lunatic!
"Heroine, boss lady, I beg you, please show mercy. If your hand shakes, my life will be over!"
Qin Miaomiao looked somewhat disheveled, but under the dim light, her eyes gleamed like those of a wolf, exuding raw ferocity. The corners of her mouth curled into an unsettling smile as she casually glanced at Lu Qing and greeted him in a nonchalant tone:
Lu Qing’s previously gloomy face instantly... cleared up, as though the storm had passed, with a faint trace of amusement appearing in his eyes:
Jin Jing was stunned—nicely done?
Taking down two men, holding a shard to someone’s throat, blood spilling everywhere—this counts as nicely done?
Couldn’t Lu Qing see that Liu Lun was so scared he was practically ready to piss his pants?
He silently gave Qin Miaomiao a thumbs-up: "Sister-in-law, you’re incredible."
Qin Miaomiao’s gaze landed on Lin Ran, who was now pale-faced, and the corners of her mouth curved slightly:
"Young Master Liu, the one who sold me out to you guys should be this young lady here, correct?"
Lin Ran seemed to take a heavy blow, her face turning ghostly white as she immediately denied it:
"What kind of joke is this? I just happened to see you and Young Master Liu enter the box and got a little worried, so I brought Young Master Lu over to check things out."
Liu Lun immediately shouted:
"Lin Ran, don’t you try to wash your hands of this! You’re the one who tipped me off, took my money, and gave me the box number. You even said I could have Lu Qing’s woman for myself. Don’t act like you know nothing now!"
Lin Ran glared fiercely at Liu Lun. At this critical moment, he dared to throw her under the bus!
Qin Miaomiao raised an eyebrow slightly and asked again:
"Then, the person who knocked me out—was it also you?"
Before Lin Ran had a chance to react, her body seemed to take a heavy hit; she was suddenly hurled against the wall by an overwhelming force. Too late to process what had happened, a hand closed around her neck—it was...
