She was wearing a leather jacket, sporting sharp short hair, and hanging onto her, fueled by liquid courage. No matter how you looked at it, they seemed like a couple.
Qin Miaomiao held her up to prevent her from falling, just pondering how to get her home when she suddenly heard a somewhat surprised voice:
Qin Miaomiao turned around and, to her astonishment, saw Lin Han!
She was holding a phone in her hand, the screen lit up, her gaze brightened ever-so-slightly, as if she’d finally caught hold of some dirt on Qin Miaomiao. Who would’ve thought, even with Lu Qing in her life, she wasn’t satisfied, and was openly keeping a boy toy on the side! Truly shameless.
"Looks like I interrupted Miss Qin’s good time. Never thought Miss Qin could be so affectionate, huh?"
Qin Miaomiao frowned. What was this woman trying to say?
"Young Master Lu has always been deeply devoted to Miss Qin, and yet Miss Qin has done something . As Young Master Lu’s secretary, how could I possibly keep this a secret? Such a pity. If Young Master Lu finds out about this, what do you think he’ll do to you?"
She looked absolutely thrilled, as though she had just uncovered something incredibly incriminating, ready to stomp all over her at any moment.
While holding Jiaojiao up, Qin Miaomiao replied coldly:
Lin Han smugly waved her phone, chuckling as she said, "Sorry, I’ve already sent your photos to Young Master Lu, and also to Lu Lu. Your little boy toy secret won’t be hidden for long. No matter how much Young Master Lu likes you, I doubt he’ll stomach this. Once Lu Lu sees it, Lady Lu will surely find out as well. What a shame—looks like your position as Young Madam won’t last."
Before Qin Miaomiao could process this, Jiaojiao lifted her head, glanced at her, and squinted slightly:
"Miao Miao, what kind of nonsense is she spouting? Since when did I become your boy toy?"
Lin Han froze in shock upon hearing her speak. What— a woman’s voice? Could the supposed boy toy actually be a woman?
Qin Miaomiao let out a snort of laughter: "Her? She’s got a bad brain and even worse eyesight—mistook you for a man."
Jiaojiao straightened up and advanced toward Lin Han, taking a closer look before letting out a contemptuous "tsk tsk": "With skills this low, you actually think you can stir up trouble? Was your brain kicked by a donkey or something?"
Provoked by Jiaojiao’s taunt, Lin Han furiously raised her hand and slapped Jiaojiao across the face! Jiaojiao, buzzed from the alcohol, was slower to react and actually took the slap head-on. This enraged her completely—she instantly raised her foot and kicked Lin Han hard, knocking her to the ground, where she struggled to get back up!
Just then, a few women entered through the door—Lin Han’s companions. When they saw Lin Han lying face down, they jumped in shock:
"Lin Han, what happened?"
Seeing her people arrive, Lin Han exaggeratedly embellished her story: "These two bitches hit me! Quick, help me get even. Teach them a lesson!"
She intentionally withheld Qin Miaomiao’s identity—after all, being Lu Qing’s wife was too intimidating a title. Mention it, and no one would dare touch her.
The others heard this and, without hesitation, rushed forward. Five or six people in total—some pulling hair, others scratching faces! Forget reasoning, they were ready for a full-blown fight!
Qin Miaomiao pulled Jiaojiao to her side, the two standing back-to-back. She snorted mockingly:
"Lin Han, are you sure you want to make a move against me?"
Lin Han did falter a bit, mindful of her identity, but then her eyes flickered, and she quietly picked up a shard of broken glass from the ground. Taking advantage of the chaos, she planned to slash her face!
