Before long, Qin Miaomiao began to sense that there was something off about Jiaojiao. Her face grew redder, she became increasingly excitable, and even her voice grew louder.

Once inside a room, Jiaojiao couldn’t stop waving her arms and kicking her feet. She was jumping, singing—her behavior was wildly over-the-top, almost manic.
"She’s been drugged, a stimulant," Lin Xiaoxiao said, her words prompting Qin Miaomiao to furrow her brows. Drugged? Who could have done it?
"Could I trouble you to bring Lu Qing here for me?"
Lin Xiaoxiao’s expression shifted slightly before she asked back:
Qin Miaomiao spread her hands. "Jiaojiao needs someone to take care of her. I have no choice but to ask for your assistance. Please."
"Alright, wait here."
With that, Lin Xiaoxiao left. Qin Miaomiao immediately called Jin Jing herself. She needed to confirm whether the drug would have any dangerous side effects!
Thinking back, she realized it was Jiaojiao who got caught up in this because of her. If not for Jiaojiao, the one who would’ve been humiliated after drinking the champagne would’ve been Qin Miaomiao herself. Who was targeting her? Who bore a grudge against her?

Meanwhile, Lin Han appeared behind Lin Yushi like a ghost. Wearing an eye mask, her gaze was chillingly cold and sinister.
"Dump her in the bathroom. Strip her naked. Make sure everyone sees her body."
Lin Yushi jumped in shock and quickly pleaded, "That would ruin her! She’s a Lin Family member, after all."
Lin Han chuckled coldly. "Lin Family member? She’s nothing more than a bastard child. Hurry up, do as I said!"
Frightened, Lin Yushi dared not disobey her orders and immediately instructed the two men to carry out the task.
