Lu Qing felt like he’d fallen out of favor. He had been waiting on the bed for half an hour, anticipating his lovely wife, planning to indulge in some intimacy, but there was still no sign of her!
His territory had been encroached upon, and even his benefits were being impacted. He figured it was necessary to have a little chat with Ou bei Yao.
He dialed a number: "Han Shu, help me get in touch with Ou bei Yao."
Not long afterward, Han Shu responded, "Ou bei Yao went to Vietnam; he’s involved in some shady dealings."

"Someone targeting him?"
Lu Qing sneered, "No wonder he dumped his little brother here—spending five million to keep his brother safe is definitely worth it."

"No need; he likely already knows."
After hanging up the phone, Lu Qing waited another ten minutes. His wife still hadn’t come to warm his bed, and he was getting anxious. Leaving the bedroom, he spotted the guest room light on, and sure enough, Qin Miaomiao was painting alongside Ou Beichen!
"Xiao Chen, you really have talent. You’re sure to become Mozart!"
Leaning against the doorframe, Lu Qing reminded her, "Mozart played the piano."
"Also played the piano."
"Van Gogh! I must’ve gotten this one right."
"He went insane, cut off his own ear—you don’t know even this?"
Qin Miaomiao glared at him furiously, "So what if I’m academically clueless?"
Lu Qing curled his lip dismissively and said calmly, "I have an IQ of 160. As long as the kid doesn’t inherit your intelligence, it’ll be fine."
Feeling a massive blow to her pride, she rolled her eyes. So what if someone has a high IQ? She’s made it this far in life without relying on it! Hmph.
Ou Beichen glanced up at him, his previously clear eyes now flashing with sharpness. Standing, he pointed to himself and opened his mouth:
Lu Qing raised his brows. "IQ of 160? What’s this—kid, you’re looking for a challenge?"
Ou Beichen took out a Rubik’s Cube, giving him a frosty look. "Up for a battle?"
The challenge: scramble the cube and solve all six faces in the shortest time possible—the quicker one wins.
Qin Miaomiao was the referee. She’d tried her hand at these before but could never solve one.
For games of chance or anything involving gambling, she excelled without fail. But when it came to brainpower, she was at a loss—this world sure isn’t kind to people who struggle academically.
The timer started. She watched as the two Rubik’s Cubes spun rapidly in their fingers, moving so fast her eyes couldn’t keep up!
This was a battle of geniuses! They say Rubik’s Cubes follow a set of patterns, but she... wasn’t catching on!
Hmm, her husband’s hands were more attractive, though the adorable seriousness on the little prodigy’s face was equally captivating!
Two voices echoed one after the other. Qin Miaomiao focused her gaze—it was Lu Qing!
Glancing at the time: 19.79 seconds!
This speed was insane!
Ou Beichen stopped just a fraction of a second later, visibly crestfallen. Qin Miaomiao hurried to comfort him:
"Xiao Chen, you were already so fast."
Ou Beichen pouted. No matter how fast, he couldn’t outpace this old man.
"Alright, it’s late. Time for bed—you’ve got class tomorrow, don’t you?"
Ou Beichen shook his head, then said with a hint of pride, "Me, guaranteed admission to Cambridge."
Qin Miaomiao was utterly shocked. "You’ve got guaranteed admission to Cambridge at such a young age?"
"Why not? That’s an incredible school."
He didn’t answer, and Qin Miaomiao didn’t press further. After reiterating a few reminders, she left the room.
Turning her head, she spotted Lu Qing standing in front of her, his face clouded with gloom.
