A single "Mrs. Chu" was the greatest warning, reminding Su Moli that if she didn’t care about this position, she might as well keep being arrogant and willful. Chu Yunhao didn’t want a woman who didn’t know her place.
The sinister and cold stare made Su Moli’s back go numb.
No one knew better than her how cruel and ruthless this man could be.
If he said it, he would do it.
Su Moli wasn’t done being Mrs. Chu just yet.
Weighing the pros and cons, no matter how furious she was, she had no choice but to suppress her anger.
"I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have hit you." Her voice, as small as a mosquito, couldn’t hide her unwillingness.
Before Qin Miaomiao could respond, Lu Qing coldly cut in first, "You think ’sorry’ is enough?"
Su Moli opened her mouth in protest, "I apologized, what else do you want?"
"Come here." Lu Qing lazily squinted his eyes.
Su Moli’s scalp tingled. Instinctively, she looked at Chu Yunhao, but he didn’t stop her and even gave her a look, signaling her to follow the orders without resisting.
She stumbled forward a few steps, then a few more.
She came to a spot very close to Lu Qing, and only then did he seem satisfied.
"You dare touch my woman?" Lu Qing’s icy voice sent chills down the spines of everyone present.
Just as Su Moli began to explain, her words were cut off.
No one wanted to hear her explanation; it was considered nothing but nonsense anyway.
"Miao Miao, how do you want to punish her?" Lu Qing said softly.
He was defending her. Looking at his cold and stern face, Qin Miaomiao felt a warmth rise in her heart. Maybe this man wasn’t so bad after all.
Suddenly, she raised her hand and pointed to Zhao Li in the crowd, curling her finger to summon her:
Zhao Li’s face turned pale as a sheet. She wasn’t stupid; going over now was asking for death. Even her seemingly invincible brother-in-law had to tread cautiously around this man, forcing her cousin to apologize. Now being told to come over, there couldn’t possibly be anything good about it.
But she didn’t dare not go.
"You, go smack her twenty times."
Qin Miaomiao pointed at Su Moli, who immediately screamed:
"What kind of joke is this? Don’t you dare go too far!"
Qin Miaomiao sneered indifferently, "You almost shoved me into the ocean, and you have the gall to say I’m going too far? Mr. Chu, the one who’s truly going too far is you, isn’t it?"
Chu Yunhao’s fury boiled inside as he looked at this woman, who was meticulously delicate like a doll but whose heart was cunning and vicious. He said in a deep voice:

Ruthless. This man who had single-handedly destroyed her life and even plotted to kill her child was accusing her of being ruthless!
She turned her head sharply, then flung herself into Lu Qing’s chest, sobbing as she said:
"Qing, these people insulted me, calling me a prostitute, and even almost made me fall into the ocean. Now they’re accusing me of being ruthless."
Her voice was choked with sobs, her soft body pressed tightly against him. An unexplainable feeling stirred in Lu Qing’s heart, his expression turning cold as rage surged through him.
"You won’t act? Fine, Han Shu, give her twenty slaps!"
He raised his hand, and suddenly four burly men dressed in black appeared behind him! They were even armed. Chu Yunhao’s face abruptly darkened—how had these men gotten aboard the ship?
More importantly, had Lu Qing already grown so powerful?
Without a second thought, Han Shu stepped forward and landed a slap directly across Zhao Li’s face. He showed no compassion, and Zhao Li’s left cheek quickly swelled. If she were slapped twenty times , her face would be ruined!
