Lu Qing’s cold face showed a faint smile: "This is my bed. If I’m not here, where should I be?"
Qin Miaomiao finally realized that she seemed to be... in his ’private apartment’ now? Although using "private palace" might be more fitting.
She flung off the covers to get out of bed, but he wrapped his arm around her waist and pressed her under him, a hint of danger flickering in his eyes:

Qin Miaomiao immediately realized what he was planning to do and quickly spoke up:

As he spoke, his phone suddenly rang. Lu Qing’s eyes shifted slightly, and he pressed the speaker button.

"Starting this month, your credit card is suspended until your sister-in-law forgives you."
The voice on the other end immediately became sharp: "What did you say? She has to forgive me? I absolutely won’t! Are you even my real brother? Why do you protect that woman so much? I don’t care. I want you to lift the suspension immediately, or else..."
Before the other party could finish, the call was abruptly cut off. Lu Qing’s expression turned chilly; he clearly resented Lu Lu’s loud and unreasonable antics.
In his memory, his sweet and innocent little sister had suddenly changed into this; it made him feel a bit heartbroken.
The phone rang again. Lu Qing directly blocked the call. Lu Lu tried dialing again but found she couldn’t get through, which enraged her to death. Yu Qing and Lin Yufei stood right next to her. She had just fallen in love with a bag, but when she swiped the card, it was truly suspended.
The saleslady, knowing her identity, still kept a respectful attitude:
"Miss Lu, do you still want the bag?"
"What kind of lousy bag is this? I don’t want it anymore!"
Lu Lu casually made up an excuse and tossed the bag down before walking out. Lin Yufei spoke up at this moment:

The saleslady was stunned by the slap but, fearing Lu Lu’s status, didn’t dare fight back and slinked away pitifully.
A supervisor came over and greeted Lu Lu with ingratiating smiles, while Lin Yushi tried to mediate:
"Lu Lu, let it go. She didn’t mean to offend. After all, it’s your brother who suspended your card."
Lu Lu glanced at her and sneered:
"Don’t act like a good person in front of me. Not a single word has come out about your stint as a live-stream host. Afraid I’d envy you, huh? Who was it who said they’d focus on studying in college? I’m such a fool for believing you. Now you’re a famous internet influencer with solid backing, of course you’re confident."
