My Bottle Cosmos Chapter 59

The pinnacle of the World Tree.

Herodotus sat on the throne, motionless for several days, conducting deductions.

Using information provided by the spy Sylph.

They had seen those three kinds of life—hardest, most immortal, strongest in bursts. When fully awakened, this ancient being like gods and demons, wielding a blade against the gods, they were bound to be defeated.

A sense of impending doom lingered in the gods’ hearts.

"In terms of combat power, no matter what ability we develop in the short term, we cannot surpass the opponent."

"Then, the only hope is a faster speed."

Only speed is the only way to victory.

No matter how strong the Great Demon Monarch is, as long as they surpass in speed, they have a chance to win.

Perhaps they need to enter the next era of civilization, find the third Awakening, to have a hope of survival!

Herodotus remained secluded with half of the members, ignoring the outside world.

In recent days, they continually improved the speed of consciousness reactions and accelerated physical movement speed—twenty times, thirty times...

At the cost of their lives, as if entering a high-speed track, a brand new world seemed to come into view.

Even though they had chased and hunted the Thunder Spider Elis repeatedly, obtained its electrical genes, and accelerated their reaction speed through electrical stimulation, thirty-three times was their limit.

Yet those high-frequency powers greatly harmed their consciousness and body.

"Cannot persist for long."

"Yes, the flesh and blood, overloaded , when our bodies reach thirty times this speed, they are exhausted after one use, and need to be replaced."

"Even if the body is replaced, our consciousness suffers equally massive damage, and life won’t last long."

Thirty-three times the speed is for desperate battles.

All muscles in overclocked overload, brain neurons operating under the acceleration of electric currents.

In this state, like a steaming red shrimp.

Could collapse from exhaustion at any time.

Maintaining a tenfold speed reaction is the normal biological speed that does the least harm to the body.

"Beyond that, above thirty-three, there is an ethereal layer of consciousness membrane, a door of consciousness sealing." Herodotus quietly watched the experiment.

The brain is a house.

Consciousness is the resident.

Herodotus felt that once he broke through the door of consciousness, he would step into an unbelievably mysterious world beyond thirty-three times the speed and never return.

But sitting on the divine throne, Herodotus suddenly spoke boldly: "I want to see this incredible world!"

"Are you crazy?" Minis said.

"Fear is away from the truth..." Herodotus spoke calmly.

"Don’t fool me." Minis said.

Minis knew he was a brave yet cautious man.

Herodotus would adventure for his dreams but would never choose a path of inevitable death like Atabia.

This was their biggest difference.

So back then, Atabia pressed forward courageously to die, while Herodotus retreated, living in anonymity.

He knew to revere certain things.

"But do we have any choice?" Herodotus smiled.

Minis was speechless, "Instead, let others try..."

"They can’t do it. If anyone can, it must be me."

Herodotus said, "This time, someone still has to stand out, and there is no other madman Atabia to pave the way for us recklessly."

"And there’s no time to hesitate. Even if successful, we may not win against the unknowably terrifying ancient existence. I must try and preemptively sabotage the opposing ritual."

In fact, they had no choice for a long time.

Herodotus did not, nor did the gods. Someone must bear the responsibility to continue the era, or else the gods would inevitably face total annihilation.

"I feel, beyond thirty-three, should see something special, like our soul."

"That is the path to the third Awakening, I will find it, bring it back to you."

Sitting on the throne, Herodotus removed the Treasure Crown, put down the Staff, a faint smile appeared on his face.

Under the whole World Tree was noisy, the sound of elves emerging from buds, and the sound of human race tribes preparing for battle below, bustling with excitement.

"Truly hope to see the new era, the civilization after defeating the Abyss, full of heroes, would be very interesting."

He sat at the top of the world, looking distantly beyond the Crystal Wall, his body on the throne becoming more and more indistinct, leaving only an outline.

A breeze suddenly blew before the gods’ eyes, and the throne was already empty.

The speed of the Divine King Herodotus had reached a point where no one could see clearly, as if entering a motionless space-time.

Their Divine King suddenly accelerated and broke through the membrane, opening the door.

Sound suddenly disappeared.

His senses, hearing, were infinitely magnified.

Countless information began to flood into Herodotus’s mind, sounds, waves, smells, genetic structures, the whole world at every moment provided a crash of information.

How warm it was when the light shone on him.

How wonderful the sound was of each cellular collision.

Every genetic sequence inside him clinked like a string of wind chimes.

He seemed to see everything.

The world was singing!

Suddenly, he had a vague enlightenment, his tone unprecedentedly calm,

"Transcend the self, immerse the spirit into the earth, elevate electromagnetism into the sky, to circulate within the world, burning the lamp of life’s ends."

"I saw the possibility of a third awakening."

His consciousness was fast to an incredible degree.

This young Divine King, his appearance changing by the day, becoming older, even donning white hair, his body wrinkled, covered in tree-like patterns.

His "Ancient Divine Species Brain" consciousness wave suddenly expanded fully, seeing the microcosmic flow of all things, and in the sky, twisted threads of auroral colors in the brilliant world.

At this moment, a mysterious feeling was generated in his mind:

Consciousness Awakening 21%
