"We're so close, don't mind these details!"
"Hmph, you have a scent of perfume on you, the same scent I smelled on Romance earlier when we met!" Zhao Shishi, sporting a smart look, haughtily stared at Yun Hao!
What the...? Is that even possible?
Upon hearing Zhao Shishi's response, Yun Hao was dumbfounded. Damn, is she Sherlock Holmes? Just like that, she concluded something unusual was going on between him and Romance, and even tricked a confession out of him. She's a real prodigy!
"My little Shishi is the smartest," Yun Hao discreetly complimented her.
"Tch, who cares? Hurry up and take a shower!" Zhao Shishi, like granting an amnesty, kicked Yun Hao out!
After washing up, once Zhao Shishi was sound asleep, Yun Hao quietly left the room and headed to Tank's villa!
"What the heck do you want to say, man? I was playing games at this hour but didn't get to play, waiting here for you!" Seeing Yun Hao come in, Tank was the first to express his discontent; they had agreed on meeting at 12, but Yun Hao didn't show up until almost 2!
"Hahaha, sorry about that. My little Shishi wouldn't let me go!" Yun Hao laughed while apologizing and then sat on the sofa opposite Tank!
Though Yun Hao seemed to be apologizing, he was actually showing off, implying quite obviously: I have a wife, I have a girl; although you guys do too, you aren't as happy as I am!
Especially before Yun Hao spoke, his loud, arrogant laughter had completely given away his real thoughts!
Faced with Yun Hao's overbearing laughter and boastful tone, Tank and Cold Face unhesitatingly flipped him the finger; since getting together with Gao Shengnan, Cold Face had become a bit more sociable than before!
"Alright, let's get to business!" Cold Face took control of the situation after the joke, as he typically did at such times, otherwise, getting Yun Hao and Cold Face to be serious was about as difficult as climbing to the heavens!
"Let me first say how I feel about her—very cold, with a hint of malice flashing through her eyes now and then. According to my knowledge, she's been cultivating a pretty sinister technique called Soul Stealing!" Cold Face looked at Yun Hao and shared the information he had gathered.
"Who are you talking about?" Tank felt puzzled by this sudden topic and thus asked.
"I don't know what she's cultivating, but one point I can confirm is that she definitely knows Annie. When she first saw me, a fleeting hint of hesitation and bewilderment flashed in her eyes, as if my presence there astonished her!
Of course, this doesn't mean much. Importantly, there's a cute little fox tattooed near her collarbone, just like one I've seen on Annie!
That's one thing; another is that she gives me a very dangerous feeling, even rivaling the Duck King, or perhaps her prowess has already surpassed his!"
In response to Tank's question, Yun Hao seemed oblivious and shared the information he had with Cold Face!
"Damn it, who the hell are you guys talking about? It's always like this; you call me here and then don't tell me anything!" Tank was quite irritated by this. It wasn't the first time it had happened; every time, the two would call him to discuss matters, and then they'd just talk among themselves while he sat there like an idiot, not comprehending anything!
"There's one more thing; when you ran towards Romance's villa, I kept my eyes on her. She turned around and gave me a very sweet smile, yet that very smile made me feel a sense of fear, as if a man-eating beast was lurking behind it!"
