The hidden floor of the Derry Town Central Hospital – Morgue.
The sound of metal wheels echoed from deep within the dark corridor, signaling the arrival of a new corpse…However, according to hospital rules, it wasn’t a time for transporting corpses.
Guarding the morgue was a one-armed old man.
His emaciated body seemed to writhe with an autonomous digestive system,

From deep within his blackened, toothy mouth came strange sounds:

Yet, the ‘thing’ in the corridor ignored the old man’s warning, its wheel-rolling sound unchanged.
Eventually, a cart carrying a body bag glided out from the deep, dark corridor.
But there was no one pushing this cart… Logically speaking, only the hospital staff in charge of transporting bodies would know where the morgue is located.
The unmanned cart in question was obviously problematic.
The old man promptly picked up the spade behind him and swung it in a vertical chopping motion.
Both the cart and corpse were cut in half.
However, what fell out of the severed body bag were countless spider-like constructs made of fingers… their numbers exceeding the capacity of the body bag itself.

Having felt the pain of being devoured… the scene shifted, and it was as if the old man had awoken from a dream. He resumed his post at the morgue’s entrance.
It seemed that he had merely dozed off, having a vivid nightmare.
However, the sound of wheels rolling echoed again from the dark corridor, the same cart as before reappearing.
The old man proceeded to destroy the corpse and the cart again. This time, innumerable black hairs grew straight out of the corpse bag, instantly intertwining around the old man and slicing him.
Minutes later, he woke up again.
The process repeated ceaselessly, but the old man dutifully protected the morgue… No matter how many times he died, or how much fear made him tremble, he would immediately shred any bodies transported outside of the designated time.
Not until the death toll reached ten times.
A black liquid overflowed from the ceiling directly above the old man’s head, landing precisely on his bald pate.
When the cart slid over, it was not attacked by the old man.
Instead, it was stopped by his withered arm.
The body bag slid open on its own.
A fair-skinned, flawless female corpse suddenly sat up and reached out to grab the old gatekeeper.
At the same moment, numerous strange tentacles, made up of fleshy bubbles of various sizes, sprang out from the amputated part of the old man’s arm, completely entangling the woman’s hand.
The old man’s aura had completely changed.
Gibble Gabble~ Additional tentacles grew from his mouth.
Producing a voice that was not his.
It was a deep, distant voice, superior to humans.
“Jane, remember I told you before, if you want to come to my hospital… please let me know in advance.”
Although the female corpse seemed silent, she was actually communicating with him in a different way.
