Chapter 684 Call Me If You Need Anything
"Scared?" Nick looked at her. The sharpness of her black eyes seemed to penetrate her eyes.
Veronica turned back and looked away. "What are you doing here? I told you I was going to my dad's place tonight. What do you want now?"
"Do you still want to go after what happened in the hospital?"
Veronica understood what Nick meant, and her brow frowned slightly and looked at him. "Do you have to look after me in order to be satisfied? Leo is my driver, and now he's on your side?"
Nick raised his eyebrows and she saw how his eyes deepen.
Veronica knew that his emotions were a little too extreme and a little remorseful so she then said, "Why would Elton really hit me? It was just to scare me, right?"
