Chapter 704 Come With Us
Cathy asked, "Mom, will you take the boat with us?"
Peter said, "Daddy said he would take us fishing!"
Julie, "A ship as big as aircraft!"
Josh, "What a big one."
Lily, "Is Mom coming with us?"
Daniel did not speak, he came forward to hold Veronica Parker's legs, and he buried his little face between her legs. He rubbed his face to her legs.
Veronica Parker thought that there were still three days to go before this week. It turned out that her children already knew. 'Is that what Nick said?' She asked herself.
She had no contact with Nick Cage in the last two days, and she automatically ignored the matter of going out to sea.
She didn't think that she would go again.
Her children could go with him, she didn't have to go.
"Mom, why don't you come with us?" Lily's little hand grabbed Veronica Parker's trousers and said, "Mom."
Veronica Parker looked at the six little ones with tears in their eyes. She squatted down and touched their heads. "I really can't get away. Why don't you all take a look at it without me then?"
"Mom, you must come with us!" The children persuaded her.
"Well, I want Mom to go!" Peter exclaimed.
The smile on Veronica Parker's face was so reluctant.
They got in the car and left the school.
Veronica Parker looked at the street view. If Nick Cage was still indifferent, it didn't seem to be a question of whether she wants to go or not.
She knew very well that if Nick Cage wanted her to go, she must go. She had no choice.
Veronica Parker still went to the TV station by car on Friday morning.
She yawned in the early morning.
'I slept well last night.' She said to herself.
Really, she always felt uncomfortable recently, and she could not say whether she was not happy or she was just lazy.
Veronica Parker sat down in her seat, she had still twenty minutes to relax before she started working in the TV station.
After lying down, Veronica Parker humorously thought that her chair felt so comfortable that she wanted to take a nap.
She thought the relationship between her and Nick Cage was really elusive.
"Leo, call me when it's time, I'll just take a nap," Veronica Parker said.
"All right Miss Parker, take a nap."
So, Veronica Parker was really relieved to sleep.
Veronica Parker woke up but she didn't open her eyes.
She didn't know how long she slept. She felt someone touched her, and her face was kissed softly.
Veronica Parker was so familiar with that feeling that she opened her eyes vaguely and froze. 'Why am I in the car?' She asked herself.
'Am I dreaming? Am I not in my office?' Veronica added.
"Mom is awake!" Julie jumped with excitement.
Veronica Parker then regained her senses and sat up. "What are you doing here? Why am I here?" Her eyes roamed around. She looked out of the window, and she could see a vast blue sea!
Next to the boats was a yacht, its color was black and white.
Leo turned around, he was sitting in the driver seat. He asked Veronica Parker, "Ms. Parker, do you want to get off? The yacht is waiting for you."
Veronica Parker gave a sharp look at Leo. Her six little ones were staring at her. She would be stupid if she didn't understand her situation.
'Great!' Veronica Parker exclaimed to her mind.
The car stopped. Veronica Parker and her children got out of the car. She didn't see Nick Cage.
'Is he here or not?' She asked herself.
"Daddy!" The excited voice of Lily.
Veronica Parker looked at her back, she saw the black Rolls-Royce. It came over arrogantly and stopped beside her.
The bodyguard opened the car and Nick Cage came out.
Veronica Parker's eyes flushed and fell on the excited six little ones.
'They are so happy.' She said to herself.
She was brought here. No different from coercion, and Nick Cage didn't even give her a chance to back out.
