The incoming call was from an unregistered number.
Veronica Parker answered hesitantly, "Hello, who's this?"
"Saxon Raglan," the person on the other line said.
"Saxon Raglan?" Veronica Parker was surprised because Saxon Raglan told her before that they don't need to get in touch. However, the mobile phone number doesn't seem to be his.
She wondered why Saxon Raglan called her that time.
"I want to ask you about someone."
"Ask me about someone? Who is it? "
"Clare Parker," the man said in a serious tone
Veronica Parker's beautiful brows frowned slightly, "What do you mean? She's not here with me."
"She is now trapped in the bar because of Nick Cage's orders."
Veronica Parker realized that what Clare Parker posted on the internet was true because of Nick Cage. And so she did not only apologized online but was also thrown into a bar to be humiliated.
If it wasn't for Nick Cage's power, Veronica Parker believed that Clare Parker would never get out of her life.
Other people couldn't do it but the powerful Nick Cage could definitely make a person knelt and apologized.
"Saxon Raglan, I thought you said you didn't care about Clare Parker?" Veronica Parker asked. "Now I'm surprised that you to talk to me for her."
"It's not about caring for that person, it's about wanting that person."
