Chapter 818 Not The Real Father
"What do you want me to tell you? She disagrees! You are not her real father. Why should she help you?"
"I can't help it, you have to come up with a way, or I'll come to you? I know you are still very smart!"
Chloe was going to be mad at him, but she didn't want to hear such a compliment at all. "I'll call you if I have any news. Don't call me again!"
Then she hung up!
There was a knock on the door, and outside was Kevin's voice, "What took you so long?"
"Coming!"
Chloe Bowen was not only called by Tom Parker, but she was on a phone call so late at night. He wouldn't think that she was speaking on the phone with Tom, would he?
While Kevin was in the shower, Chloe ran outside to answer the phone, "Who is it?"
"Toby Cage."
Chloe was surprised that it was Toby Cage? Why did he call her?
"You want to see me?"
"Let's talk in person. I'm in the hospital. I think you can find it, right? After all, it was easy for you to find my father's hospital."
Chloe's heart thumped, "You. What do you mean?"
Toby didn't answer but hung up the phone.
Chloe panicked!
Why would Toby Cage mention Eden's hospitalization?
The guilty Chloe thought that she should go and see Toby, or she won't sleep well all night.
She went back to her room and Kevin came out from the shower. Chloe hurriedly said, "I'm going out."
"Still going out?"
"My friend seems to be getting divorced, crying and screaming in the bar. I'll persuade her not to get over it at that time."
"Come back early and call me if you need anything."
"Good."
Chloe made an excuse and went to Toby's hospital by car.
When she got in, Toby was leaning against the bed, looking at the information of the company in hand.
The time on the wall was 09:30 and there was no time for the patient to have a rest.
"Toby, are you feeling any better?" Chloe didn't forget to buy baskets of flowers and fruit to put on the table.
Toby looked at the things on the table and said, "It's a waste of money. No, your uncle came to see you before. I didn't come here because I wanted to take John Cage, for fear that he would annoy you. Do you blame me?"
Toby looked at her impassively, making Chloe feel uncomfortable. "What are you looking at?"
"What is your relationship with Eden Cage?"

Toby let go of the video and pointed the phone horizontally at her.
Even if there was a certain distance, Chloe can still see clearly the scene in which she killed Eden by forcing a pillow on his face.
She couldn't help looking flustered.
It never occurred to her that there were others in the ward! This person was still Toby! The nurse just saw that there was no strong evidence, but this video can definitely convict her directly!
"What do you think will happen if you give such a video to Eden, to the police, or my uncle?" Toby turned off the video and asked.
Chloe gritted her teeth. "Are you threatening me? What do you want?"
