Kay Tours looked at her. "Miss Hamilton seems to have lost a lot of weight."
"It's all right. I can go out in two days." Rachel was a haughty person, she was locked up but she still didn't want to bow her head. This was her way to hide her guilt!
"Can you really get out?" Kay asked.
Rachel was stupefied by the question. She responded, "What do you mean?"
Kay stood outside in an upright position and said, "Miss Hamilton, we got a call from the taxi driver who ran away with Veronica on the day of speeding. I want to know what really happened."
Rachel's eyes flashed, "What are you talking about? I don't understand. Maybe someone dialed the wrong number. Can an ordinary driver know a big star like me?" Rachel made an undisguised mockery.
"The call record is 1 minute 58 seconds," Kay said.
Rachel looked stiff, they checked her phone records!
"It's just a call from Veronica asking for your help," Kay said.
"Yes, called me for help and then I went but I didn't do anything." They already knew, there was no need for her to hide the truth! "All right! I will convey your words to Mr. Cage intact." Kay said and turned away.
Rachel's heart was racing and she started to panic.
What if Nick would come?
She was afraid that she would confess everything as soon as she saw Nick! Then there would be no chance to beg for mercy!
"If I told the truth, will you kill me?" Rachel asked nervously.
"Probably not."
Kay went back to the KING Group, knocked on the office door of the highest authority, and only pushed the door in when he was given permission.
Nick was sitting in a black seat, he was facing the affairs of the group.
Kay nodded slightly. "Mr. Cage, Veronica called Rachel for help to confuse the police and evade inspection. Rachel Hamilton agreed because of a threatened recording."
Nick, who buried his head at work, raised his black eyes coldly.
"Before we dined in the clubhouse, Rachel came to you to help her get back to the entertainment industry. Before she left, she left her phone, recorded everything we said, and played it to Veronica. Rachel said Veronica threatened her, saying that her conflict with you came from the recording and it made her desperate to run away from you."
