Once again his intense gaze was on her but it didn’t make her feel warm and fuzzy. It made her feel fear, those eyes could kill her with one look.

Tears rolled out of Tang Xue Mei’s even if she had done wrong, even if she had hurt his feelings. She still wanted to live, she didn’t want to die.
"A-at this rate you’ll kill me.."
"Don’t you think you’re undeserving of this life that you have.."
"Yes...I know I am I’m the last person who deserves it but I don’t want to die again, there’s so many things I haven’t done, I haven’t achieved. I don’t want to die..so I’ll be selfish and clingy to this life I have..."

Feng Shihan said his last words and collapsed.
Tang Xue Mei eyes widened as she held to the unconscious Feng Shihan on the floor.
She placed him on the floor properly and went to get help.
"Do you know the hospital to take him?"
"Yes..the boss has his personal doctor, he’ll know what to do.."
Tang Xue Mei held unto Feng Shihan’s hands for the first time she had felt the pain of hurting someone. In her past life she was usually the one who got hurt.
"Carry him to ICU.."
Tang Xue Mei sat down her hands locked together, she stared at the ICU doors for the next 1 hour and thirty minutes.
Finally Feng Shihan was rolled out, she immediately stood up and followed them, they rolled him up to the vvip ward.
After they had settled him on the bed, Doctor Jeong looked at Tang Xue Mei.
"He won’t wake up until tomorrow, go home and have some rest.."
Tang Xue Mei shook her head she was going to stay here, stay awake all night if she had to but she wouldn’t get a single ounce of sleep until Feng Shihan was okay.
Doctor Jeong sighed and encouraged Tang Xue Mei to get some food as it was still early. It was only 3:45pm.
"Thank you doctor Jeong.."
Doctor Jeong nodded and left this wasn’t the first stomach Feng Shihan had landed in the hospital because of his gastritis, he had probably eaten something with sweet or spice.
But this case was a little bit complicated than the last time, his stomach lining bleed badly this time, this was something that had never happened before.
Tang Xue Mei spent the next 6 hours watching Feng Shihan, she cleaned his face, adjust his blanket and made sure he was comfortable.
At 11:39pm she was already growing tired but she didn’t sleep, seeing Feng Shihan reminded her that she was the one who landed him in the hospital.
She sat on the floor in between the bed and the bedside cabinet. It was cramp and her hands sometimes felt cold but she never left that position. It was the closest to Feng Shihan so she could help him if he needed anything.
At 4:15 am Tang Xue Mei body couldn’t take it anymore and she succumbed to sleep. Few minutes later Feng Shihan opened his eyes.
He sat on the bed and saw the sleeping Tang Xue Mei on the floor.
"Stupid what are you thinking sleeping on this cold floor.."
He picked her up and placed her on the bed, it was big enough for the two of them to share.
She rolled into his arms, snoring lightly. He should hate her but he couldn’t bring himself to push her away.
"Why do I care about you so much..what’s so special about you? Tang Xue Mei.."
Feng Shihan sighed begun recalling what had happened before he passed out.
Yes I know I’m the last person who deserves it but I don’t want to die again.
Again? Had she died before. Feng Shihan knew she wasn’t lying at that moment. He could see the fear in her eyes, he could see that fiery desire not to die.
"So rebirth really does exist.."
He closed his eyes and fell asleep once again.
At 7:33am, Tang Xue Mei opened her eyes, her entire body froze when she sat Feng Shihan next to her.
Who did I get into his situation. He must have woken up earlier.

Her steps froze midair as she turned back to look at him.
He sat up his expression still cold but the hate that she had saw yesterday wasn’t there.

She kept banging her head on the floor until Feng Shihan raises his leg to stop her.
"If you want me to take you back then you must first answer my question..."
Tang Xue Mei quickly nodded but when she heard the question, her eyes widened in shock.
"We’re you reborn?"
"No.."

Feng Shihan nodded now everything clicked, that was why she quickly called of her engagement with Du Xuan and her friendship with Ju Jing.
